It was amazing watching her talk. I also loved the fact that I was able to hear someone address the end customer as "she/her" for a change. I know, it's a women's brand and it's obvious. But what isn't obvious is that the brand is led by women leaders who are strong, creative and driven (just the way the society presumes only men are capable of being those things). Loved all the small implementations all over the store. One question I do feel like asking though, is, how do you deal with the gatekeeping factors like Sign Up/Login of the customer so that the tracked data is allocated to an individual?

terrific, Emily. One Question: near the end of this piece you talk about taking down the silos. How do you begin to express to your group how to accomplish this? We already have a glut of communication (we believe meaningful communication) which seems to muddy the waters more than clear things up. In other words, our marketing areas might be able to understand the abstract of working together in an Omni Channel environment, but would have trouble creating a work plan, procedure or practical methodology to actually get things done. Our different silos nod their heads in agreement, then look paralyzed with how to take action. thanks Jeffrey Lyn Hall - Beatnik Lingo Entertainment

Great presentation! Seeing your stores I wonder how long it will take to merge everything into a unified virtual experience. Is it necessary to actually try things on or is it enough to see yourself in the mirror wearing it. That would make it really easy to see what goes along with what, how it looks in the evening and it would no longer matter if you are in the store or not. So what is hindering this developement? We are focused on omni channel ourselves, but in the telecom sector. So we are facing different challanges and I can't asnwer that. :)
