Journey to Green Sand Beach - Big Island, Hawai'i

This is one of the most incredible Big Island adventures I have ever been on. I was very grateful to have my amazing wife and newborn daughter to tag along with me! This was quite a journey to accomplish. It took a 4 hour round trip drive and an almost 6 mile round trip hike! It was more than worth it. We actually got up and left the house at 4 AM so that we could begin our hike before the sun came up. We started hiking around 6 AM. This green sand beach is 1 of 4 in the world! We had it all to ourselves. Shout out to my incredible other half who is always down to make it happen with me! Wifey, thank you for carrying our 5 month old baby girl and keeping her warm!
