Oilseed Radish is a fertilizer, all you're supposed to do is till it up. There should be a help menu if you hit escape which can help you with figuring out what to do with each crop. I play fs19 but fs22 is pretty much the same.

I've never played a FS game till 22 and found it difficult to try and find out what to do and how to do it. Alot of watching YT videos and just figuring it out myself.

Beet harvester is what you need
Oilseed radish is a natural fertilizer. After you plant it and let it grow and then cultivate it back into the ground, you will already have the first stage of fertilizer on when you plant the actual crop that you’re growing and going to harvest for profit. Whenever I play, doing the oilseed radish thing takes way too long, so I either use the dry fertilizer or manure or slurry. I almost never use the liquid fertilizer, but that’s definitely an option as well. Nice thing about manure and slurry is that it’s free as long as you have cows and/or pigs. When you’re first starting out and don’t have animals yet, dry fertilizer is the quickest, easiest, and cheapest.
