With the release of “Seelie”, CLANN welcomes us back to the world of KIN Fables - a grand scale multimedia project captained by director/producer Seb McKinnon, encompassing original music and stunning short films. This is a visual/musical project, one as as melancholic as it is epic, as haunting as it is beautiful, with plans to culminate into a feature film (currently in late stages of development). The word clann comes from Old Irish, meaning family - indeed, the family of collaborators responsible for this odyssey returns with the signature ethereal vocals of Charlotte Oleena, as though singing words from an unknown or long forgotten language, and heart-wringing string performances by violinist Chloe Picard. With Seelie, they have refined their sound, while not losing touch with their cinematic arrangements, airy vocals, and trip hop/downtempo beats. - Hudba

I have this song on repeat currently, just found it and i love it. The Cicadas sound at the start brought up intense feelings of nostalgia when I was a kid in the 80s and was dirt poor, lived in a tin roof house and the sounds of the outside went straight through our houses walls.
This is just a mind-blowing masterpiece. Mona Lisa aesthetics level. Probably even above Pink Floyd level. And soooo trippy.
Violin at 5:30 to 6:30 minutes is just lovely...
This song feels like, im in the forest, finding one party going on there around the fire in below the clear nightsky filled with stars, what a beautiful feeling, can‘t explain why i imagine exactly sucha thing but it feels so great

I'm quite sure this wasn't intended, but i keep hearing "Господи, помилуй" ("Lord, have mercy" in Russian) at 1:29, and it sends shivers down my spine.

I'm Romanian and Orthodox and I also hear Kyrie Eleison at around 1:11. I know this is "Lord, have mercy" in Greek. Is it similar in Russian? Gave me goosebumps too. Have no idea if that is what they say.
@@Kanikanihia in Russian it sounds kind of like "Gospodi pomilui", but now when you mention that fragment, I think I can hear it too! I don't know if that is really what they sing, I read that this band's songs are like "singing words from an unknown or long forgotten language". They did use an Estonian folk song for one of their songs, though (I don't remember which one, TBH, but I saw a comment somewhere on CZcams about it), so it is quite possible, I guess?
