Chicano were hard back in old days respect to all barrios and Rip for those who gone
Those were the good ole days...when life was easy & fun...I wish I can go back in time
Damn different times for sure. Almost seems like a whole different world back in those days. Much respect
Come to the San Luis valley in southern Colorado,,we still the same,,,gangsta
No ablo ingles me pueden explicar?
CODE92818 I’m from Northern California but that’s true this was an LA thing, there was banging like this up north, with homeboys dressing like this in SJ, Oakland, Frisco, Stockton, Salas, Modesto, but LA was just on another level. Waaaay more barrios, LA is fucking huge with way more people and way more barrios. With that of course more homies and homegirls.
I totally agree.
I'm 57 yrs old I'm from the 80's I'm surprised I'm still alive thank you God. I lost a lot of homies may they R.I.P.
i read your comment i feel you peace b with you
Mi Raza like no other!! 70's born 80's raised and 90's primed for the future.
I was never in a gang, but because my cousins claimed, I was associated with them... I remember these good ol days for sure. Kicking back at a homie's house, smoking and drinking. My era (15 yrs old in '97) still dressed like this for the most part, Frisco/Ben Davis jeans with a solid tee and Cortez/Adidas All-Starz. Ahhh, great memories, greetings to all.
I used to put in work with some homies, I'm from Corona CA, the gang at 3:47 is the Corona Scarlets, my homie's dad is from that gang but he's doing the family thing now, I stopped living that gangster lifestyle, but still rock the old-school lowrider fedora hat with white Tees and Levi's 501s, sometimes I wear my Cortez or Chuck's, now I'm here wanting to start up my own lowrider car club, I have homie's down to join but I just gotta get some money saved up so I can get my 85 Buick Regal and go cruising with the homies
@@kevingonzalez6778
Nothing wrong with that man. It's good to see Raza still keeping that style of dress alive. That was the true Chicano way... I'm a family man now too, with 3 kids and a wife... hope you get enough funds to set up your club and get things rolling man.
I’m fascinated with LA Mexicana culture I think the styles are timeless.
Makes me glad to be Mexican especially in our society right now
It's all ABOUT THE MEXICAN AMERICANS and the MEXICANS!!
Amen to that brother, 100% proud Mexicano
Puro Chicano
@@ElGalloCinco for reals man ..puro chicano esta el tope... We littleraly invented everything west coast gang bang culture..
@@jfkbestpresidentever7036 No such thing as " Mexican American."
We are Chicanos ! The product of early and new generations of immigrant parents.
However, Chicanos of old tend to have at least three generations ahead than recent ones.
Much respect to all Raza from all sides...PHX..AZ..WS..
Well....You began this with my favorite. The Flamingos. Takes me back to the Bronx. Fell in love with it then and at 70 Still takes my breath away!! Such talent. Like raw honey...Thank YOU!!
That was back when I was one, those where good times. Just living and enjoying life.
HOPE YOU KEEP MAKING THESE 💯, THESE ARE HISTORICAL CHICANO STORIES BROUGHT TO LIFE AND SHOULD NOT BE FORGOTTEN.
That shit reminds me when I was a kid.. I used to iron everything thing down to my boxers and socks lol.. Couldn't have no wrinkles back in the day.. God Bless all the raza. Be safe and smart out there.
..
The movie "Blood in blood out" made these old school Chicanos very nostalgic to see.😎
I was a metalhead growing up but Sundays were for cruising and listening to the oldies. The hynas and vatos wore their best back then and took the ranfla out for an evening of cruising and catching up with friends. Maybe a carne asada after. Brings back some great memories of a simpler time.
I don't think it was a simpler time I think the 90s was the craziest gangster yrs for me it was growing up in 818 SFV
I swore I read that you were a methhead growing up. I was like shit that makes two of us. Nah jk🤣
Memories 💪 I remember back in 2004 hanging out with my homies riding around places in Arizona
Although i roll wit Norte, i still have respect for da other side for being real G's. Hopefully a truce one day
I hope so to carnal were all chicanos for the sake of our culture
I'm from the other side, Kev. I gotta say, i agree😎
Raza Rifa!
It’s a long history and been a long fight.
Yeah there is, started in the pen. I see some online showing respect to each other as well. This shit is old and stupid, time to move on to better things like the bloods n crips. All soldiers, smashing on drop out snitches and all that. Too many lames thinking it's all good to go join a gang that started in PC, with this newer skinny jean culture it's a shame.
I miss dressing like that back in the late 80's and 90's in San Fernando, but I still rock Dickies por vida
Mad respect from north miami florida to all!
Simon que si !!! The Rollas ,Rides the Stilo . I dnt bang . But this is LA Vida . And Culture✊👍
I don't bang either but i been around all that my whole life!!! I was tryna see if I could see my primos in these flickas...😁😁😁
Back in the days wish I was there in that area I bet things were a lot different back from the seventies and eighties then it is today's generation I know my family were part of the west side VERDUG MT.VENON Royal counts gang I.E S.U.Rx3 SES
I was bored and grew up in orange County, and it was fun to be those days, With good music, I enjoy house parties, and I am a native american indian Indigenous Apache Until I die.
No mames I didn't get notified you uploaded another dope video, keep them coming g!👌
Love the channel, the music is brilliant!

6:37 The Brown Intruders bike Club in Atwood ! I belonged to that club in the mid 90s . That red bike with the virje de Guadalupe was beautiful it took first place at summerfest 1995 . Also We were in the placenta heritage parade it was fun showing off our bikes .
Love the oldie's music 707
This brought back memories of my homies and home girls, and it was about respect. Respecting your self, respecting your family and most of all respecting each other. We looked it for each other. We had some serious talks with one another. In those times just teens but our mantelaty was basically on a whole different level then today. And then family times BBQ's kicking back. And my dad taking Mom, and sister's and I out in the family cars our 1965 Impala or the 1959 Belair cruising not really going anywhere just and, sometimes going somewhere and having a picnic.
Es Todo ❤🎉❤
The best Day Sunday ❤🎉❤
I remember these days really well it was definitely a dangerous time when every street was a different clika everday shootouts banging in these days was no game its much different now back then everyone was creased cuffed and folded sum crazy memories ese definitely a different world from today
This video makes me sad for some reason. I guess looking back at this lost warrior generation We dedicated our lives too I see the brotherhood but I also see a lot of suffering, because I can only wonder how many of these homies survived that era and actually achieved some degree of happiness. Those days were vicious.
This is my culture . even though i didnt live in those years . this is our history . the SUR is one blood.
Dope homie...
What ever happened to this beautiful days????
Respect honor and pride is what we had back in the day.. too bad were a dyin' breed. But least i can say i was part of those beautiful days and proud of it too.
@@RAIDER4LIFE131 From what Barrio if you don't mind me asking.
What was so beautiful about Raza killing Raza and going to war with other barrios ??
Nothing but ignorance. You might miss the days of no easy access to Internet where everything is posted nowadays about our daily lives but this isn't shit to be proud of unless you were truly serving your barrio and protecting it from OUTSIDERS !
Most barrios were stupid for just the fuck of it. The Pachucos and barrios that protected Raza back in the day from outsiders and white people are the ones I truly admire and the era I truly believe was better than all these fools running wild and killing beach other over drugs and pure nonsense.
Hey homeboy that's some real shit to say that cuz you know our sides don't get along I've been up north with my homie from San Lorenzo I used to hate motherfukers until I met him he changed my whole perspective used to live with them took me in his house and everything picture that shit Norteno in Southern California taking in a Southerner and becoming like brothers everyone up North with them went to 98th and D went to San Leandro all over the bay got mad love with a big ass 13 on my arms the whole thing is bullshit think of it like this way we be running the jails already imagine if we all stuck together

I remember back 67’ 7th grade smedley jr highschool I had some friends one of them was a white guy but all cholo, he started a club “F TROOP” (names after the tv show of screw up cavaliers) there were about a half a dozen kids (13-14 yr old) that joint and started wearing the tan brown light jacket with dark brown old English lettering).
Funny to see a guy in the video holding up his jacket
Much respect from fl✅
ORALE THIS IS FIRME!!! GRACIA'S
It will never be the same again.... Reminiscing Back
When Compton Was A War Zone!!!
Back then (late 50s-late 60s) homies / gangsters were “Vatos y Pachucos, later Cholos”. The guys always had the clothes sharply pressed and creased with their Pendleton’s draped over their fore arms and the girls were called “Rucas” with their teased up hair sprayed hair and tight short skirts. I still remember those thighs.
I remember riding my bike from La Medina Projects in East LA on Sunday nights to go look at the low rider car clubs cruising Whittier Blvd in East LA,
Later we moved to Santa Ana and it was downtown 4th street. In the 7th grade a white guy named Roger but everyone called him “Fish” (his face looked like a fish) that was all pachuco, started “F Troop” originally there were a half dozen jr. high school kids (67’-68’ Santa Ana)
Shit the music was great!
Today blacks are credited for the “homie gangster” thing, but it was the Mexicans in east LA and Pacoima that were the original “homie gangsters” back then due to white racism and oppression blacks had not even ventured there...
My older primos Ruben, Tony, and Ceci they were the real things. RIP Ruben and Tony
I lived at California and edinger next to centennial park shit was wild getting chase by cops cuz we was supposed to be in school they never caught us but yea i had homies from F troop that was late 80s early 90s then we moved to Santa Maria
I have never worn criest out shit but IV been brought up around it , it's feedmey the old ways are the hard ways you can get bucked up ,in the end that's alot of courage with the homies
