I will never forget carrying some friends to a burial in soy elde and because we drove from Nairobi that morning, I drove really fast upto 140 kph in a 2.5 litre Xtrail. The back passengers kept pressing brakes zao huko nyuma as they could see the speed in the centre console.😅

I have used Nissan T31 and I can tell T30 and T31 are specious and great interior.

0-100 doesn't make sense. Mechanical wise deeper review do make sense. Alot of sense
0-100 is key, it makes you know the picking of the car, incase you're overtaking at a short distance, that information can help you in such a case.

A very nice-looking car. And something that with a "ck" failed to mention; when you buy a new one, never trust mechanics. Always do a diagnosis ata kama uko sure shida iko wapi. That way, any Nissan will live forever! But ukibarikiwa na more than 600, heri uendee Rush ama kama umebarikiwa zaidi, Rav4!

The Best Budget Suv,2.5lit engine on timing chain engine,with an Overdrive for long drives,great pickup n power rating of 132Kw for its engine,cabin space great, after 2007 Nissan models the engine rating was 125Kw.

The T30 Nissan X trail is very brilliant off-road,the downside is that it's a fuel guzzler,it gets worse on long distance travels.

The 1.8 is more economical while the two liter is a fuel gazzler,it gets worse when doing long distance journeys.
I filled the tank in Nairobi,it was less than half tank by the time I got to Narok,and empty when I got to Kisumu. The same cycle was replicated while traveling back to Nairobi.

Great review on the T30...however kindly highlight how one can sort the inherent faulty fuel gauge with the T30 even after replacing it with a new one. But this is a great car
Also had problems with fuel gauge! I had to ignore it since I didn't trust anyone with fixing it. I expected okabi to go deeper 9n this car!

What was the nature of the fault? Permanently empty or permanently full?
it registers that it's a quarter full but it's empty
@@dominicnyamweya6815 If your car is a 4x4 the tank is divided into two because of the propeller shaft to the rear wheels. There is a hose that is connected to the fuel pump unit(left) and which sucks fuel from the other half of the tank(right) During reassembly the hose sometimes lays in the way for the gauge floater which would cause you to have false readings. Please check that it is installed carefully and that the hose lays away from the playing path for the gauge floater.

That is nice and to the point. However, I do have a question... What is the length from the front seats to the rear door? Like can one person lie down straight with the back row seats folded with some modification? I was considering this for camping.

This is possibly the worst car you can own. Weak and poor 4WD system. We bought one at 550k,whee mpaka tulienda wedding ya mechanic wetu. If you want a daily, long distance car, don't get this, get the murrano, terrano or HOnda, pajero...
5:54 I know someone who installs that strut bar to prevent the seams from breaking apart. All cars he has ever owned always get that installed the moment he buys them. Does this mean it's pointless to install it if the car doesn't have structural issues?

Most people don't know, but kwa overheating ni coz it has 2 thermostats, nilienda dala kama moja pekee ndio ilikua imetolewa. Londiani showed me hell

I have the T30 but later after buying, I realized that the previous owner had removed the 4 wheel rear shaft. So, It gets into distress when climbing hills on rough road with loose soil or when rainy and slippery. I'm thinking of restoring the 4 wheel but not sure if this is the right decision. Someone advise.
Definetly yes. Light muddy or snowy inclines that are not doable with two-wheel-drive are now do-able. I'd say as good or even better than in a Subaru from around the same time, because the possible to lock the middle differential.
Source: Me. I have a T30 (with ESP though) and last winter it was fun testing the 4wd from time to time.
