One case that I forgot to mention was when we worked with an applicant with 43 backlogs. That was the only case we failed to get an admit for the client. This has been the rarest of occurrences, but their profile did not have much to offer. No work ex, CGPA around 5.8, and no research papers. They will be applying again after getting some work ex and research papers. Brother, i had 24 backlogs , so, for clearing those backlogs i took 2 extra semesters and my cgpa is 3.04 (out of 4.0). Is it possible for me to get any funded admission for MS in USA/ Canada?

You must prepare for IELTs academic if you wanna do study from abroad but if I wanna go abroad for work or pr then you should do IELTS General both have same syllabus ..All the best

Yes scoring marks in some government University is very difficult. In my university topper got only 79.4% .
I got a little confused after watching this video. what exactly do you mean by backlogs? If I have completed Engineering, that means I have Zero backlogs right? Or my backlogs during engineering will be counted while applying for MS?
Yogesh Kadam if you had backlogs in your bachelor's, they usually hurt your chances. This video is an attempt to show you that you can still make it, even with backlogs.

I have low CGPA with 12 backlogs, all cleared though. But I do have 6 years of work experience. And I did a project on J1 visa at University of Maryland (6Months).
I am looking forward to applying for MS in MIS from US. If I manage to get admissions somehow and complete my MS (STEM) course sucessfully, will geting a job in US be harder for me due to my low CGPA in undergrads?
Will MS compensate for my low academic records?
In general, I know its a struggle for everyone to get a job in US, but will my case make it harder to find one?

Its Usually the Pune University students who have low CGPA, it has worst grading system, if these students were to attend any other universities the results would be surprising. And its very common, students of pune University have similar CGPA as the guys in video shown have(who are also from PU BTW) and yet get admit to top 100 US universities.
The scores are low because its not easy to get full marks in any exams also its among top 10 university heading with IITs & Yes because of this students get admits though having low CGPA

@@SRP5x5 if you want to get into top schools, you need a great gpa and even 8 doesn't cut it. 8.8 or more is where great starts from. Sad but true. And if I were a nerd, pretty sure I would have scored at least an 8.

I got 6.33 percentile… however … my college sucked they debarred me in around 7 subjects in a semester even when i had 60 percent attendence (that sem my dad had expired) and i had backlogs/ improvement (passed but given reexam for better grades) in 22 subjects … and i have one year experience for working in an audit firm( grant thornton) in cyber security department… the question is will i be able to get admission in a good university… given that i will hard and get 700 + in GMAT… please let me know
You can actually get good university if you score more than 700 in GMAT and write good SOP and essay.

What if one has an active backlog while applying in 7semester and having a backlog from 2 semester?
You'll have to clear your backlogs first. Then only your application can be accepted.
@@faithliengangte7314 Are you sure?? Because this is the only step i’m stuck woth and will clear it in this semester only but it will take time as this is a university process. Although i have a rock solid relevant overall profile. Will it outwork that backlog? And even now having a high gpa as well in the recent semesters.
@@akshitnassa6833 don't worry as long as you will be able to clear that backlog before you join the class, it will be fine. If you apply also, you will get a conditional offer letter (as long as you clear the backlogs).
Plus I'm speaking from experience as a student counselor so it won't be an issue.

No. Of attempts for canada
Backlogs is number of attempts or number of subjects we re write?
Like if I write a subject's supplementary exam twice is it consider as 2 backlogs or 1 backlog
Assume u have 2 backlogs but you took 1 attempt to clear first subject and 2 attempts to clear 2n subject. It means total 3 backlogs. So the no. Of attempts will be counted to know number of backlogs. And i have cleared this doubt from many canadian colleges. They count total of no. Of attempts.
If you take supplementary exam twice whether it is same subject .it will be counted as 2 backlogs.
