What makes these videos for me is the environment montages with the sounds of nature and stuff. There's a million channels doing the same exact content but that little extra nugget is making all the difference 👍

I cooked a lamb steak last week in a Ridgemonkey. Since I got this I have used it both inside and outside and it has become an essential piece piece of kitchen kit. I don't have anything so magnificent as your cast iron skillet!
I laughed at the end because I have 10 dogs and all are the same: if I point at something, they just look at my finger, not at the thing I'm pointing at. So frustrating. I also loved the fact that I also have a couple of those horseshoe trivets, made by my dad, so handy for cast iron cooking, and the chain mail skillet scrubber. With that thing, I don't even fear making macaroni and cheese in my Dutch oven! I was entranced by this video, from start to finish. So artful. Thank you, Becky!

Delicious meal as always. And the western music was something else! I was imagining Buster wearing a cowboy hat and drawing his trusted Peacemaker with his fast paw! „It was like wilderness out here these days, and my six shot stirred nervously under my fur as i stepped into the saloon. Everyone became silent as the bar keeper suddenly started to throw down his whisky bottles, screaming ‚This time i‘m faster than you, McBuster!!‘ Becky the cook had already started to make her fantastic outdoor stake, since she‘s been hearing about my arrival. Looks like i‘m not too stealthy these days!“

You had no choice but to share with Buster since he had his laser eyes focused on you while bombarding your brain with high voltage thought rays. I’m glad you have one of the high end US made cast iron pans made by one of the 9 or so new small batch producers that have cropped in the last 10 years or so who are making pans with a lot of the features that made the old pans made by the Griswold Co. great. I have a large Griswold that i use every day that is 100+ years old; and it’s still slick as glass. One of your grandkids will probably pass that pan down to one of his or her kids. You would be surprised how many such pans end up in thrift stores over here because young brides who receive such as presents find them heavy and not shiny. I hope you enjoy it for many years in good health.

One theory of using an ax to section a log is that the notch should be as wide at the top as the diameter of the trunk. Thicker chips are produced and the sectioning goes faster. A narrow notch ends up, not chipping wood chunks out, but by trying to shear through the fibers across the grain.
