Earthquakes created mountains that has pegs to fixate earth crust so we can maintain life.
It has an ultimate purpose. Everyone dies, Allah chose some people to die in a certain way, Allah promised them martyrdom, i.e. eternal Paradise. The purpose is to give them a fast ticket to Jannah or jahannam if disbeliever. And we don't have the greater picture, we know the pixel he sees the image, it is illogical for us to say something has no purpose when we don't have the greater picture.

Max couldn't pose an argument, Yes. But, Hamza's den could have used simpler words and logic throughout like Hamza countered God's existence with earthquake and Subhoor's argument about expiry of some snack in a jar or Dawkins's quote about the design.
Poor max seems to be a layman and he was all over the place. But, the hosts could have used layman arguments to counter instead of explaining the existence of God like a scientist would explain.
For non-native speakers of English, those kind of information would fly over the brains.
Max is a kind of a naive person. He says if a person is born with 3 bones more, then that person is a altogether a new species.

1. nicer to him
2. use easy explanations and actually explain him the basics of islam like

Any person with little education should know there are many benefits for earthquakes, whether we like it or not, earthquakes are part of this ecosystem. Also Allah gives us the ability to learn and think and discover ways to stay away from regions where earthquakes are likely to happen.

I want to debate with Richard Dawkins if his famous quote "We are all atheists about most of the gods that humanity has ever believed in. Some of us just go one god further." is a fallacy or not. My truth is atheists conclude fallaciously the universe was not created by an intelligent entity because a particular concept of God doesn’t exist. It does not follow rationally that because Jesus Christ, Allah, Buddha and the other religious gods don't exist the universe was not created by an intelligent entity. Why atheists think the universe was not created by an intelligent entity? I will start the debate from my stronghold "Reality is eternal because from nothing can not be created something". The key question is "can the universe be eternal?". Does the evolution of the species have a beginning, is intelligent what created the beginning?. Atheists say "we don't know" when they should say "I don't know, I don't want to know and i want others to believe it is impossible to know".

Because they have to live in that house. Whereas God didn't create the earth for Himself to live in it. He has made the earth for us to live. And earthquakes are necessary. It's not a fault. It has wisdom behind it to happen. But emotional people don't know and don't want to know the wisdom, they just cry babies who know nothing.
And nobody is telling you to live somewhere prone to natural disasters if anything it’s a blessing from god that they do happen because it’s like a sign saying in black and white that this place isn’t good for you to live in. And what do humans do with their own free will… they choose to live places that natural disasters happen despite the warnings from the most merciful telling you not to live there. What a mercy from god to give us signs of places that are bad to live.
