- Leader of the House Indranee Rajah asked for an apology from the Progress Singapore Party (PSP) in Parliament on Jul. 5, 2023, over a video posted by PSP on their Facebook page at 11:41pm the day before.
The Facebook post has since been amended.

Indranee interpreted it wrongly right from the start. That’s why she got a shock when Leong said it’s referring to him.

Off course, when I first read the PSP's post, I immediately knew that the "Sia Suay moment" term was directed at Mr. Leong. It was so patently clear. Indranee needs to study the fine art of using semantics in the Asian culture...........

Indranee must make TCJ appear in parliament to receive a censure from her for using vulgar language in Parliament otherwise it will be a great injustice to all the previous MPs who not only had to receive her lecture but also follow up with corrective actions. Besides, if TCJ is just let off with a resignation and mere apology, then every school student and teen cannot be faulted for using foul language since even PAP connived it in Parliament.

You have a Member of Parliament that is openly using derogatory language to engage fellow parliamentarians, why should they not demand apology? Even the Leader of the Opposition is courteous when addressing his fellow parliamentarians. But Mr. Leong Mun Wai does not seem to know proper etiquette.

Time should be use for debating or arguing on policies and issue that affect the peoples' welfare and interest of the voters.
Debate objectively to look at things at a different perspective. But bear in mind to take of voters well beings and address their concern.

You should take it easy. He is referring to himself .There’s a reason why netizens are defending him , cos they simply feel PAP is coming down too hard on the oppositions so much so that when an average voter sees it , it gives them the impression that PAP is suppressing opposition . Yes LMW is not the best eloquent speaker but a lot of the questions he asked if you do spend time analysing are all very valid questions . What the PAP should do instead is rebutting his every single point with stronger justification and reasoning instead of trying to make a fool of LMW or constantly warning him etc etc . The more they degrade him, the more you will see netizens standing up for LMW .The neutrals are viewing it this way that PAP are doing witch hunting whether it’s the RK WP incident or degrading LMW behaviour. And they will lose some votes if they continue like this . And fyi I voted PAP my entire life . This is a genuine advice to the PAP. SM Teo Chee Hean is a good example , when facing “allegations “ from LMW on conflict of interest , he defend and explain the differences on conflict of interest and perceived conflict of interest well, instead of trying to make LMW a fool.
