BeamNG.drive (mod) Freeroam: Jungle Rock Island - 1980 Ibishu Kevin 4WD

Normally I do not play with addons that are still having the kinks worked out, but this one is just too neat to pass up, especially since this truck is on the official repository. The 1980 Ibishu Kevin is a Japanese Kei-truck that has a cab positioned forward in front of the engine so it has lots of room for cargo. For this reason, it is way better for transporting things than the Ibishu Pigeon. It also has hinged bed-sides so that it can be converted to a flatbed although this is mainly for loading and unloading purposes as the tailgate obstructs the brake lights when it is down. This Kevin shares the Pigeon's engine and it handles quite like the 4-wheel Pigeon, but this vehicle has a 4-wheel-drive powertrain, a very welcome feature.

Ah the 80's and 90's, when carmakers still knew that small and simple is the cheapest and most environment friendly option for a workhorse/commuter. Truly do miss the days.

@@Joe_Nutsy True. It's so ass-backwards that they've convinced the american public that a 3-ton SUV/pickup with a 7-litre V8 that gets 9mpg and kills anyone it hits is the must-have car regardless of use case.

I see alot of Kei trucks ars being made as mods. Nice to see that. The fact that two trucks were released on the same day is crazy.
Have you checked out the other one?
This one, from the outside, looks like any kei truck you can think of ,from the outside but the interior of this one actually makes me pinpoint to one and its the Daihatsu Hijet for some reason.

@@Joe_Nutsy yeah ,I pretty much agree , it has the same tire set , interior and engine. It just has a different outside body. This one's quite unique compared.
