The Dolphins will unseat the Bills for the Division title. They're past due. Should have done it last year. Bills were 6-6 and Dolphins were 9-3, yet (two years in a row), they crumbled down the stretch. People forget that the Dolphins swept everyone else in the Division besides the Bills who swept the Dolphins. While the Bills swept the Dolphins, they split with the Jets and Patriots. But the Dolphins clearly have more talent this year. McDaniel will take things into his own hands with a dynamic running game and passing game and a better overall roster and scheme on defense.
@@vladostrov8676 Josh will be contained this year. He was contained in the season finale last year. Miami had all their edge rushers out and yet still stopped Josh at the end. Tua threw the game away forcing balls into coverage. Plenty of reckoning since. Josh has owned the Dolphins. But that ends this year. He'll have to pay restitution now. Plenty of it.
Lol another redicilous Dobbs take. Oh yeah it's the weather 🙄 try actually paying attention. Here's a real simple stat. Games missed by olinemen during the season: Bills 0 Miami 33.....now think real hard. Weather or Injuries???
@Dobbs65 That warm weather factor is not the reason why the Dolphins start out fast. They were winning on the road, too, including at NE and at NYJ which is more than Buffalo did. Maybe we should say that the only reason Buffalo wins games later in the year is because of the cold and the snowballs hitting opposing players on the sidelines. Neither are accurate. The Bills weren't as decimated as the Dolphins were at the end of the season. Miami had 11 starters out at the end. Yet they still held Buffalo in check. Buffalo caught the big break with the special teams TD score. Not from Josh Allen. This year will be different. In reverse of the 90s, this time (finally) Miami has the superior roster. Buffalo is going down in 2024. Take a screenshot.
My take on the last 2 yrs vs the Bills... I think there clearly is reason to be optimistic even with going 1-4. 2022 Game 1, we win by playing good defense and taking advantage of Allen's mistakes. 2022 Game 2, we have the lead late in a VERY hostile environment, but Allen has a great game and beats our defense... Tua played great, but not great enough. 2022 Game 3, Tua doesn't play, Skylar Thompson has 44.7 passer rating and we lose by 3 after closing it to 3 with 11min left in 4th but 2 drives gets no points. 2023 Game 1, Liam's first game starting at Center, we score well early and lead by 7 - but Buffalo realizes Liam is NOT able to handle power rush and start dominating him and McD/Tua do NOT handle it... we stop scoring and Allen has a great game once they realize the defense was not tight yet, they're still figuring out how to play off each other in Fangio's system and get crushed over the last 3 Qts. 2023 Game 2, we lead 14-7 at half, and then even our crappy defense without Holland, Howard, Chubb, Phillips, VanGinkel - we keep Allen to 14pts... we should have won a game like that at home even without Waddle but Goode has to fill-in on punt coverage for Gink and blows his knee and takes out Ingold - opening the lane for the 96yd punt return - and guys just make mistakes (Robert Jones, Hill drops, Achane 3rd down mistake) - Tua actually played well in this game (73 QBR) but we loose a game we should have had as Allen was HORRIBLE in the red-zone... 359pass and 67run against nonexistent pass rush, yet he only scored 14pts. I don't think there is any issue with McD/Tua - I think they just need to be reasonably healthy and execute the same gameplan. If we're really healthy when we play them, I'm expecting to win a good game.
Miami does not have the best roster in the AFC East. Your 1-53 has star power but lacks quality depth especially at OL, DT, start of season IR guys that are key like Phillips and Chubb, injury prone key piece at LT and LG, an unproven QB in Tua and a tough 3 games to open the season and a brutal 7 game final stretch with 5 of those 7 games on the road and worse primarily with the exception of the game at Houston, all in bad weather locations at this time of the year.
Phins up everyone

For my money, easily best roster in the AFC East. Top 5 in the NFL. Thanks, bros

Already 16K 👏🏼 🎉
I've heard it all. Chris Brockman admitted that the Dolphins should be the betting odds frontrunners to win the division

My games to set the tone. Buffalo, Green Bay at GB, Niners
Pay Tua! The OL has got to step up and Phillips/Chubb have got to be healthy.
This is our year.
Go bills
I was at that bills game last season and I thought the dolphins were going to go in and knock them out! Nope.
