    For a typical 300 MW solar power plant, with substation 33kV/220kV what will be the cost for the scada system including engineering, hardware, commissioning, and software.

    • @SCADASupportPh
      @SCADASupportPh  Před 2 lety +3

      @SaeedAhmed the overall cost of the SCADA system varies due to a lot of factors:
      Engineering and Commissioning - this will be more dependent on your preferred contractor as you'll be paying for Manpower and skillset.
      Hardware - dependent on the type of HW to be used ; types of cables and or connections (fiber, ethernet, wireless etc), Meters, Data Loggers, Virtual Machines, PPC (power plant controllers). the price would also double if you'd consider setting up a redundant network.
      Software - for those passive devices (Smart Meters, RTACs, etc) there is already an OEM software bundled with the hardware. However, for your main SCADA Application, this is separate and will be defined by the number of tags you need. Historization is also a separate package as well as Alarming and /or Events Generation.
      All of the above would also vary depending on your geographical location as some equipment and manpower cost may differ from one another.

      @@saeedahmed4651 RTACs are the most common, those SEL 3530 & SEL 3530-4(selinc.com/products/3530/) that are in-between the SCADA and the substation relays.
      For large power plants wherein a capacitor bank is required- for the V ratio changes on the high and low side, you should have a load tap changer (LTC). (www.reinhausen.com/productdetail/on-load-tap-changers/tapmotion-ed)
      Transformer monitoring is a must too (smsystems.co.in/qualitrol-SERVERON-TM8-on-line-DGA-monitor.html)
      On the subject of documentation, most of the documents I've used are more proprietary, so I would refer you to online / public documentation for those related hardware, or make sure to have a generalized video presentation.
