Selena Gomez releases blushes everyone exclaims “omg! How great for people with disability and issues with grip! How inclusive!”
Colourpop releases product in similar packaging “omg! They are copying everything!”
As a person with grip issues, I was so excited to see this release from colourpop. Everyone is releasing liquid/cream blushes with doe foot applicator in pretty much all the same shades. I was excited for this packaging. If someone innovates a more accessible packaging, by all means, please copy it.
I think, honestly, colourpop's grip is cuter. Like, it is objectively cuter and cheaper than Rare Beauty. And I think even the Rare Beauty colors are not original by any means. Like, stop making me defend colourpop of all people lmfao. And I don't even think all of the colors are exact.
What’s even funnier is that the top of the Rare Beauty blushes wasn’t even made for people with disability issues. It was an assumption someone made that got turned into a big thing and at first Rare Beauty didn’t deny it. Then they finally came out and confirmed they didn’t make it that way intentionally

For the Gloss Gods palettes, I think you should include them in one of your "trying 4 new indie palettes" videos, but count the Gloss Gods collection as one palette and use a number generator to select one shade from each and do a look with that 🥰

I literally didn’t even think of Rare Beauty when I saw the Colourpop blushes. The first thing I thought of was oh this is kind of a nod to their heart compact blushes only now in liquid form. 🤷♀️ was I the only one?
I would love a 4 looks with 5 palettes from the new Gloss Gods colorful palettes. I feel like you could just combine the nudes palette with the peach one. 😊 But you know more of what’s coming down the pipeline as far as new release palettes go, so I get if that totally doesn’t make sense, timeframe wise.

Just like Tarte shape tape had a "creamy" version come out. This is a flanker essentially. It's the creamy version of the ceaseless concealer
Here in Canada there are only a few different drugstore lip oils (Nyx, Elf, Milani, Essence) you can buy in store. So I'm definitely interested in the wet n wild lip oil, especially since I run through lip oil quickly and wet n wild is a bit cheaper than some of the previously mentioned brands. If they ever even decide to launch it in Canada!!!!
There are only so many components the brands can use in the makeup industry...so I wouldn't consider it stealing. 😂

I like hearing behind the scenes industry info. I think for Gloss God's I am really interested in their products but it probably won't pay the mortgage. Maybe a mix and match try on? Pick a color from all 5 palletes after switching and do a look?
The "dropper" packaging that DM used I actually saw, and have, in the Rituel de Fille in their 3 drop foundation (that came out first). It always surprises me that people forget that there are only so many companies that make packing or even formulate makeup - there's always going to be some overlap.
So glad that BBB is releasing a small all shimmer/special palette. I love this idea
I hesitate to buy a whole big palette but the special shades always tempt me

YSL is my favorite brand. This stick is going to feel amazing on the skin and hydrating. Its probably got a lot of skincare. I use light makeup always on the skin but on the lips and eyes I play play play. The glitter in the asian market is my favorite too. Try it in the inner corner and bridge od the nose you have such a cute nose it will look beautiful on you 😊

They're actually very similar to packaging from Colorgram Tok, an affordable Korean brand. I suspect it's just stock packaging

I first saw that packaging on the serum foundation from Ritual De Fille last summer. Then I saw the DM product. And I read that Clarins also uses it? I love this packaging and wish more products used it because it really helps deliver the perfect amount with no mess to clean up.

On the note of Hourglass and innovation, wanted to give a shout out to the small UK indie brand Daniel Sandler that have had Watercolor blushes (very very liquidy) for years and years. Such a beautiful product but definitely a bit of a learning curve but you can get them to lay down gorgeously without lifting!!

The Tarte Creasless concealer isn’t new but the creamy part is new. I loved that concealer.

The creaseless Tarte Shape tape concealer was in a long skinny rectangular doe foot packaging the lid was a dark purple lid with purple and gold sponge-looking flowers. This looks like a reformulation launch to keep up with all the hydrating concealers dropping and on the market in they have no other product in the lineup that fits that to keep up with the times and to offer a hydrating concealer in their line up! I hope they stay in the lab a long time on this one because that old formulation was the furthest thing from creaseless I have ever seen in my entire life. I don’t know how it went through testers panels, etc., and still distributed. With that name

I just bought the new Blend Bunny Longing palette (after falling in love with it when you did a fabulous look with it lol) through Glisten Cosmetics' website, as it seemed simpler, easier & faster than buying it direct from Blend Bunny's website & dealing with shipping it to the UK & paying import fees separately. I also got tempted & bought 2 of Glisten Cosmetics' own duochrome eyeshadows & they swatched lovely, so I would be interested if you ever did a review of any of their products at some point in the future 💜
