I won all challenges with General Alexander, I was such a slow to move strategist that I won by playing defensive. Always preserved troups and base at the cost of resources and time.

If you going online against real players then every general has it's weakness but worth to note, id you play generals ZH version 1.4 pro rules, then you can't use any Auroras because how powerful they are. Let’s be real EMP patriots are Splash damage it touches when a missile explode them so king raptor are on par Alexander is on late game Alexander focus on super weapon defense no tanks just for long term offence granger offense like turn tide by going aurora cuz aurora decrease price if you go granger Townes meanwhile on par with Alexander cuz his Particle beam can last long than hers Townes can’t transport his troops with chinook Will waste all his battalions and will train again so Targeting her war effort of economy and power will do the trick granger can do that with bombers but waste of it needs to gain much economy by taking her outpost watch out for her EMP patriots scattered on small rock island it can be painful for this tomahawk should do or fire base so beaten her many times in brutal ain’t hard but meant probe to be a difficult time since she owns 3 super power weapons but C&CG developers knew this she wasn’t a powerful general in challenge we all know who Ironside was the toughest since I know this In the beginning his true rank is Chief Of Staff Of the Armed Forces he owns all USA arsenal the Tomahawk storm Particle Beam and the ICBM 2 Superpower Weapons were forbid and removed by the developers proving too difficult for us to handle (But was favored by Shockwave and Contra developer) tunnel network like that but ambushed so it’s fine
Fair enough. You could have taken out those buildings she can't rebuild sooner but there was plenty to do as it is. I was just wondering if there was some scripted events going on like AI getting extra resources or if it triggers the usage of some powers etc. that's related to your general power usage.

Why take out the Airfield but not the supply center to the North West, instant stop to the Aurora bombers. Then you just use your Auroras to take out their superweapons.

Love this game. Reason why you struggled is because you didn't attack her power plants. Once she goes low power, hammer her defenses or her construction dozers. Then pick her apart. Also a combat Chinook full of rockets and 1 sniper will decimate her base once the defenses are down or destroyed. Man.. not using air general correctly!!!
I heard that cd-rom was not compatible but i bought at www.g2a.com/command-conquer-ultimate-collection-ea-origin-cd-key-global.html?___store=french and it works on windows 10 with an origin client.
If you build a barracks and a war factory she will always go for that regardless. Same place every time - space it out nicely and you neutralise her super weapon without even destroying them.
You can place infantry on the north beach as dummy targets to the Auroras. The AI is very exploitable, so once you get the hang of where they tend to target things it's pretty easy.
Actually i started the same Challenge and she reks me within the first 5 minutes XD The Drones are really important i never thought about that , they have been so useless all the time
the ai on her is gimmicky asf. she will always use a10 strike on your supply depo and if you build on the left side, she will send her helis with auroras and you wont even got a chance to do anything
She's broken asf. Play her on hard and you're dead within a few minutes. So I increased the delay to about 30 minutes. That didn't work so I modified the map to have patriot missles/airfield/GLA/CHINA defenses pre-built with passive power to at least defend your base for the first wave. Still difficult but not impossible.
@@robertoproz You don't need to mod the map to win, you just need to know the quirks of her AI. 1) Don't build the supply stash until after the first A10 strike. Throw up the scaffold, then leave it sit until the PC timer hits 3:30, then stop it. The A10 strike will whiff. 2) Don't build on the left side until you've had a chance to set up some anti-air. 3) She immediately sells the right-most PC if even one of your units gets near it. Bait the patrolling Commanches out of that area, then just walk an infantry unit to the PC and it's gone. It's just defended by Avengers, Patriots, and Firebases, all stuff that can't kill infantry very well. 4) Capture and defend the two oil derricks in the back of your base, and on the island just to the north. 5) After that, know the places she tends to target late game and avoid building tons of stuff near those locations. Immediately rebuild the buildings she destroys in the same place so she targets those again and doesn't move to a different building.

Bunkers don't get cleared by Toxins, so a couple of those at each entry point filled with Rockets and a couple Miniginners will hold the fort really well. Then enough anti-air to intercept the Anthrax Bomb before it can be dropped. Finally, 2 Nukes and an Artillery Strike will be able to kill the Scud Storm before it can be launched. Infantry General can still use artillery, so you can outrange the Stingers and Tunnels when you press forward to attack the base. As long as you can survive the assault (really easy since all the entrances are choke points and he never uses Sneak Attack). With Superweapon General 1 EMP Patroit + 1 Firebase (3 MDs + sniper) at each entrance was more than adequate to hold the line. Fortified Bunkers will be able to handle that way better. You REALLY don't want the Antrax Bomb to get dropped on your base, that stench lingers more than a wet fart, and is way more potent than normal toxin. Your base is basically totally non functional until it clears up. A half dozen AA units (Avenger, Gatling, Quad) just behind your center defensive line is enough to handle it.

Is there a reason why you don't use your general powers (A10s and MOAB) and particle cannons more often and instead keep them ready to use?

If I recall correctly she does it if you build anything to the left of the supply depot.
She sends patrols like 4 helis so it makes sense that building there is wrong thnx

Try copying my opening moves exactly. The AI have some triggers that sends attacks depending on where you move your units.

This was a while ago but if I recall correctly she will destroy the building closest to her base. So why not have it be a cheap barracks? :)
