    • @YoyisLashBeauty
      @YoyisLashBeauty Před 6 měsíci

      In this video, I showed how to do this style using spikes. That's how you do a wet set style. Never use classic lashes to create spikes. Use volume lashes to create spikes. Classic classes are one extension per Lash. If you want to use classics, then it's considered a classic set, not a wet set. If you need to rewatch the video again to learn how to create spikes please do so but never use more than one classic lash to create spikes. It'll be so heavy and damaging.

    • @crybaby4171

      @@YoyisLashBeauty no I don't mean classic lashes to use spikes cause they are too thick for it I know.

    • @YoyisLashBeauty
      @YoyisLashBeauty Před 2 lety +1

      No. They are different. A primer and super-bonder have different ingredients and are meant to be used differently. A primer preps the natural lash to ensure the glue and extension sticks well to the lashes. The super bonder helps cure the glue 100% so your client doesn't get any irritation from the glue and it helps with retention. I hope that helps

      Lol it's ok. My husband does the same thing to me so I do work hard to speak better. But if I'm being honest with you I was bullied a lot for the way that I talk and I knew someone would bring it up eventually. It does bother me to be made fun of that way because this is something I work hard on. But I appreciate your apology. Usually I can laugh at myself and make fun of myself because I am my own worst critic and me laughing at myself helps me get over it and because I was bullied I guess that's what pushes me to work harder on it. But even though I am aware of the way I talk I have never let that define me nor do I let that be a reason why I don't do what I do. It is a big insecurity of mine but I still go out my way to help whoever needs my help. I'm glad you didn't mean it in a rude way and honestly if you would've made fun of me in person I probably would've been right there laughing with you 🤣🙌

You can make it extra wispy by adding longer lengths at the top or keep it simple but the overall point of a wet set is to make the lashes look like their wet using all spikes.

    • @YoyisLashBeauty
      @YoyisLashBeauty Před 2 lety

      Oh no I'm so sorry I should have explained myself good. The reason why I said not to brush them is in case you're trying to take pictures you want the lashes to still look very spiky, closed up. Sometimes when you brush them the fans tend to open up a little bit so they don't end up looking at spiky as you want them to so that's why I only say not to brush them if you are trying to take pictures right away. But after that once they go home they wash their lashes yes they can brush them out they could do whatever they want to them especially wash them every single day. But I only said that for the purpose if you are trying to take pictures.

    You said not to brush it out so what about days later when they shower and brush out their lashes, will it still have the same wet look? Or should they not ever brush it? Just want to know for future reference so I know what to tell my clients 😅

    • @YoyisLashBeauty
      @YoyisLashBeauty Před 2 lety

      They can brush it out but if you want that perfect pic after you finish the set that's why I suggested not to brush them but afterwards yes they can do whatever they want with them.

      a lot of people call it different names, wet set, angel eyes, mega classics, but yes the technique is the same. your using volume lashes to create spikes all throughout the set.

    So if you not supposed to brush them out, is the client not supposed to brush them out eaither after a wash or a shower ?? So they stay spiked??

      Also, my spike were drying as I was going on with the set, and lots it’s “wet “ look

    • @YoyisLashBeauty
      @YoyisLashBeauty Před rokem

      Hey hun. So when I said not to brush them out I meant just for the pictures afterwards. They are supposed to wash and brush them everyday. And if you did everything correctly by making sure they stayed a spike there should be no reason why they open up and get fluffy when the wash and brush them. They should still like the same.
      What do you mean by your spikes were drying? They are supposed to be dry. Your mimicking the look of them being not but they aren't supposed to be wet. They have to be fully dry when you apply or else if they are wet it's going to affect the glue. So be careful with that.

    • @YoyisLashBeauty
      @YoyisLashBeauty Před rokem +1

      If you did everything correctly and make sure that each spike is a closed Spike and not found out then there shouldn't be an issue of them opening up when they do wash them and brush them out.

      If you paid attention this is not a regular volume set. It's a wet set meaning fans are not fanned out. I know exactly what I'm doing. And I know the fans did the cross each other. Maybe from the angle that I was recording it looks like it but trust me I know what I was doing and this set is not a regular volume set. It's a wet set meaning fans are not fanned out. Lol.

      @@YoyisLashBeauty i'm talking about the BOTTOM/FOOT of the fan, not about the wet look effect! no, it's not correct, but well what else could you expect from a "stylist" from USA. • @YoyisLashBeauty
      @YoyisLashBeauty Před rokem

      Oh, trust me, I've worked over work from Europe artists, and it's even worse. If you're talking about the base. It is correct. This video is old. It's bad quality. My camera is 100x zoomed in and distorts the footage and makes everything look bolder. To compare artist based from where they are from is funny. If you don't like my work it's better for you to move on instead of criticizing them because they are from the US. Thanks for your input but you can move on now.

      @@YoyisLashBeauty well I'm criticizing, because I have to fix lashes after "stylists" like you all the time, when they come crying from another salons. Yes, of course you can find bad works all over the world, but still USA is on top, when it comes to that. And I'm commenting, because it's really frustrating and sad that people who can't even do the basic things right are trying to learn others, it's even dangerous. And believe me, I have more that 10 years experience as an lash stylist. And no, don't try to come with that bad quality thing, because I have also seen other works than you have done, and omg it's just so bad. And not to speak about the lengths you use, like what is it, 20mm?🤣
