As a New Englander, I do really love the look of this pack and the style of homes. And the creepy 'Pet Sematary' they included. The feel of home is the main reason I bought this pack.

I love this guys videos EXCEPT it drives me crazy that he completely ignores windows when he's placing things like toilets and counters. A toilet in front of floor to ceiling windows??? I watch a ton of these videos and he's always doing this.

toilet is one thing, maybe put a curtain over it but it doesn't really matter in the kitchen... it looks nice and in real life things aren't perfect so stop making perfect houses in the sims it lit gives you OCD where you cant look at anything not perfect like you showed here today.
@@Ilivepuppys it's not because it's "not perfect". He literally said "let's see what it looks like from outside" and you can clearly see the cabinets through the windows. I happen to think that does not "look nice" and it makes no sense. What's the point of large windows if they are covered up? Might as well get shorter windows and it will look better (and will probably be cheaper since he's always running out of money). It's logic, not OCD.
Not that there's anything wrong with having OCD. It's aholes like you who make the world tougher for people who suffer from such disorders.
I think toilets should be below a window but he do be putting full length windows 😂😂😂

CJ, I usually really love your decorating videos but this one gave me major anxiety. Your placement of some objects... the toilet in front of the big (needlessly expensive) windows? Counters covering half of the big windows in the kitchen? Why not smaller windows? Also, I'd feel so uncomfortable on those couches, not only because they are ugly but how close they are facing each other. My gawd man! (still love ya)

doesn't really matter? in real life people cover their windows as its just normal like in my old unit I had my bed covering half the window, not like you can move windows in real life. Houses aren't perfect and its one thing that annoys me about simmers like you, you need everything to be perfect like nah babe its not perfect, windows are never in the right areas and sometimes you have to cover half the window to fit your furniture in.
@@Ilivepuppys if you are building a house from scratch - and didn't take into account the window placement - that's on you!
If you place the bed in front of the window - that's on you also. The fact that no one intentionally build cabinets in front of large windows remains a fact. He's literally redesigning the house!!!! He can change the windows.

This is the house my household is currently in (on the rare occasions I play Sims 4). If you're looking to save money, the big windows in the kitchen could be made smaller so the counters aren't covering them. I know the bigger windows look good from the outside, but it's not very realistic for the inside. Also the huge window in the bathroom with the toilet right in front of it seems like a waste of money. Nobody I know wants to take a poop in front of a big window. That way you could afford to put the big windows in the dining and living rooms where they make more sense.

this is literally my fav lot in the whole game (i dont own every world tho lol) its like the only house i love playing in aside from the lot right by it thats behind the bridge. the base home is ugly yes but i think thats part of the reason why i love playing in it because i just love fixing it up with each of my sims personal touches!!! i love what you did with the build!!!!!
