Their Oort Cloud cover is honestly one of my favorites and I try to watch it at least once every day. The video doesn't even feel like an MV but more like they just filmed themselves out on a long weekend trip 😊
Dami has this fragile ethereal quality to her that is utterly captivating. It's like she's from a higher plane of existence and our Earth is really too rough and crude for her. The other members call her a paper human, and yet she explodes with energy on stage. She's amazing and completely unique. Her song writing is still at an early stage and I expect great things from her in the future.

The Oort Cloud is the vast region of icy debris left over from the formation of the solar system. It surrounds our solar system out to a distance of about 3 light years. It's where comets are born. The song is from Younha's album End Theory which has a kind of space theme. SuA's "Still With You" is just...gorgeous. I honestly really like this song, even though I'm usually not a huge fan of JK's solo work. But her voice just suits it so well. I love how her vocals are almost dancing with the instrumental. Neither one is overpowering. The instrumental arrangement is lovely, too. And the mood and styling she used the special clip is so beautifully understated and lonely. Anyway, I still don't have a DC bias, but SuA wrecked me hard with this one. And she says she's working on another special clip/cover, with choreography, apparently!
Space nerd alert~ ! The Oort cloud is a theoretical "cloud" made up of billions of tiny, icy comets/objects/space debris that encircles our solar system. We don't currently have the imaging or exploratory technology necessary to observe it directly, but the probe called _Voyager 1_ will theoretically reach the Oort cloud in about 300 years. For now, it's just a theory because it seems plausible based on things we _can_ observe. But Younha's "Oort cloud" uses the cloud as a metaphor for a love/world of love that we can dream of that's still out of reach...for now.
Anyway, that special clip makes me so happy. I love it so much. They're adorable. It just _feels_ so warm and happy and comforting. And their voices sound incredible together.
Same thing with their cover of "Oh my!" It's so cute. They just look like they're having so much fun that you can't help but smile, I find... They've also performed this cover on a radio show, actually, so you could probably find that if you look :D and they sound just as good ofc.
I don't know how to explain the aesthetic in Dami's "Rockabye," but I feel it. It reminds me of washed-out photographs and empty, cloudy days by the ocean. It's very cool-toned and pretty but somber. And her voice suits that so well... I love when she sings.
If you haven't heard her solo, "Butterfly," which she wrote for her late dog, I highly recommend it.
And that is how Dami SHOCKED me! She is just AMAZING! I really really hope that she will do more vocals just because she can. I hope she WANTS to do more vocal stuff. I LOVE her rapping but her vocals are so shocking because we rarely get to hear her really sing! It makes it a novelty, when it should not be so novel. She has SO MUCH POTENTIAL as an All-Rounder! ILOVEITILOVEITILOVEIT!
SuA would be the main vocal in any other girl groups... and she is our main dancer xD DC is literally the best girl group, not sure why people still sleeping on them...They should be the #1 gg worldwide famous... Each 7 members can mesmerize you equally good with their vocals, rap, personality or visual. I'm yet to find a group that can do that always... they have incredible live vocals from all 7 members. Unbeatable visual from all 7 members. Energetic dancing & choreography from all 7 members. Unique sound & concepts. Sweet, amazing & funny personalities from all 7 members. Meaningful lyrics, No bad songs and even b-sides are mostly title track quality. And they can do most genres great... The biggest mystery of Kpop that they aren't the most famous girl group...
