- Any time that time travel is introduced into a story, it creates some complications. Thankfully, the Marvel Cinematic Universe was able to explain any time travel issues by saying that every change simply created an alternate timeline. There are many of these in Marvel’s grand multiverse, and we’re going to be hearing more about the multiverse in upcoming films. It’s not the easiest concept to get a grasp on, but we’re going to break it all down. From the lies Mysterio told about it to the truth about Captain America’s marriage, let’s take a look at the explanation of the MCU’s multiverse.

We know that marvel who is planning on doing a multiverse Hurst movie event later down the linebut right now these are we still don't know the details about that's going to be it could introduce bring back characters who died ,who haven't showed up and won't exist in their worlds it took him 10 years to get all the way up to infinity war end end game from iron Man 1 so this whole multiverse thing it'll probably take a couple years especially since now that they got their hands on Fox characters lights fantastic four and X-Men we could be looking in a whole new game changer down the only thing we can do is be patient and get through this whole damn virus pandemic already.

I've been wondering some things about the Soul Stone:
1) How would the stone be returned?
2) Since the Red Skull was guarding the said stone, with it gone what would happen to him? I mean, he doesn't really have anything to guard anymore.
3) Capt. was the one who returned each stone. I was curious if they both had a brawl with one another given that they both knew each other.

@@georgewashington7982bro think about it like this, the moment loki got captured by tva which was before the event of endgame, the tva was already sabotaged by now, and nothing happened when steve travelled back in time or thanos coming to this timeline, the TVA was already finished by that time. It will make sense when you realise that in TVA exists at the end of the time And time doesn't work there, anything can happen anytime
The Multiverse is a smart way to allow almost anything into the MCU. Tobey Maguire Spiderman, X-Men, Venom, Deadpool, Batman, etc. It fixes all continuity problems and allows any character who ever died to come back in another form. Nice cheat code Marvel. Smart.
In the 2014 timeline where Gamora also disappeared, it means the GOTG might never happened, thus, making it possible for Ego to find Quill, convince him, and invade the whole universe with his seeds.
So, that timeline is already doomed even if Thanos disappeared there.

You know with these alternate timelines still existing, they're blocking the main timeline of events, Steve would end up in these branches if he tries to live the years. Time jump is the solution

4:23, steve literally said to sam he put the stones back, he completed his last mission then went stayed at the past.
What happens if someone in the timeline Captain America put the stones back in mess it all up and then Thanos or like his children get those time stones because they were alive back then in like 2014 and then come to the current timeline and bring back Thanos with the time stone because it’s possible.
So why didn’t Captain America just destroy them or something

I think this is what the next saga is gonna be about the Multiverse. This might be a way for the X-Men and Deadpool to join the MCU. The MCU is gonna probably do what DC did for the Arrowverse during their crossover event “Crisis on Infinite Earths”. Where Marvel’s previous films outside the MCU exist an a alternate universe as an alternate Earth. For example: the main MCU world is Earth-616, the X-Men Film Universe is Earth-6160, the Raimiverse is Earth-99, and the Tom Hardy’s Venom is like maybe Earth-1313.

I think the reason for the Multiverse is in case that Marvel have to reboot things in the future, but still keep the MCU canon at the same time! They could make reboots happen in other universes.
This is why time travel has to be carefully used. I only write with the "You can't change the past no matter how hard you try" rule. Everything else has too many plot holes.

When Captain America returned the Soul Stone, he ran into the Red Skull again. I think their reunion would have been very interesting.
Sony's upcoming "Morbius" movie is blatantly going to be part of the MCU or at least in the same universe as the MCU's Spider-Man since its been shown that Morbius meets Adrian Toombes.

I would be really interested in learning more about what the MCU has in store for its own multiverse. Hell, if Marvel Comics even recognizes the MCU as part of its canonical history 🤷🏾♂️. Although I do need to rewatch it to make sure I understand it but I do understand this part...the term “multiverse” wasn’t debut in Endgame but in Doctor Strange.

Also another fact is that sandman and hydroman do exist in the MCU and mysterio was just showing people their images and recordings instead of recruiting them in person. And another fact is that the venom movie probably takes place in the new timeline created by capt. America when he went back and stayed in the past and maybe he stopped the alien invasions from happening.

I almost hate to say it...but disney sucks so bad on so many...a virtual "multiverse" (to make it ultra-relevant) of levels...that it makes me kinda hate that I developed & cultivated a genuinely rich affinity for these characters & storyline-narratives from the days of Stan Lee...think it would be better@this point if I had no fond awareness or interest in this franchise...like "lotr" or "harry-potter"...would prefer it if I were totally indifferent to the "mcu"...excelsior on that...

My thought was that Old Cap was just from a different time line. Say ‘Time Line A’ is the time line Cap travels back in. ‘Time Line B’ is End Game. Could Old Cap actually came from a ‘Time Line C?’ Could Old Cap (Cap C) come and stays in TLB, while Cap B does the same thing in TLA? Meaning that Old Cap is not the same Cap that left, but he’s just an exact copy from another universe.

My head gonna explode try to digest these logics.
Some of these ideas were better than some of the stuff we've got in phase four. Not all of it was necessarily bad. Just some good, mostly mediocre, and then a significant few dinner just bad. But it feels like where these ideas could have gone are way better than where we are now. Hopefully phase five is better. Hopefully they can somehow build on top of what they have and still make it good. But I'm not going to keep my hopes up.
Existential operations are like an exceptionally convoluted logic puzzle. This is why the rules are set as they are. When you get that value in play though, you can begin to bend the rules quite a bit.. 😉
For example, you'd love to think that time machines are relegated to works of fiction, but in fact they have always been very real. They are just cleverly disguised to look a lot like a human brain and each of us have one hidden within our skulls.

Marvel screwed up big time from what I can tell. It's funny when Star Wars has major plot holes people absolutely lose their marbles but when Marvel does it they just decide to go with the alternate reality argument and even then it doesn't make a lot of sense. First they said if they returned the stones there would be no alternate time lines but every interaction they had would cause a new branch from their own logic. Not to mention the Loki show adding even more problems. For example, Loki seeing himself die at the hands of Thanos like in Endgame makes no sense because in his universe the tesseract is rendered useless in the TVA and this isn't the same Loki from the original timeline we've been following. Young Nebula dying also proves they were different iterations since the older version didn't just disappear after the the younger version died. But then somehow they had the same thoughts and memories? What absolute nonsense. I feel like they piled on way to much...It almost reminds me of how convoluted the Cloverfield universe is😂

Wait. So what universe does this all take place in? Like Wanda has children in one universe and doesnt in another universe, and also which universe is wandavision in. And who is the Wanda in avengers? The evil Wanda in Dr strange 2 or the Wanda that has children?
Steve traveled back to 1949, to be with Peggy. He lived in that timeline secretly. Whenever anyone asked about Peggy's husband, she would answer "a soldier saved by Capt. Rogers" as a cover story. He relive the entire infinity saga, up until Endgame, in 2023 of that timeline. Once that timeline's Steve went back to return the stones and Mjolnir, and to live with Peggy, he stepped in as old cap. So why can't the main timeline has an old cap too? Yes, he did live in an alternate reality, but in the main one, another version of him from another reality came and married main timeline Peggy. He did not traveled back to 2023 with a Pym Particle as an old man, he is not the type of guy to understand time travel, so he live through it. It's just like Harry Potter in Prisoner of Azkaban.

Where did old Captain America get an intact shield from? It got destroyed by Thanos in Endgame

The MCU and Marvel Comics, for that matter, do a lot of things great. However, as regards the Multiverse hats go off to DC Comics, which has handled the paradox far better time and time again. (Did you see what I did there?) As for whether or not the Multiverse exists in the DCEU only time will tell. (Oops, I Did It Again.)

The multiverse is a complex thing so imagine there are different earths so if captain america was steve rodgers on this earth on another earth steve rodgers could just be a news reporter then on another earth steve could be a buisness man and on every earth there are different events that happen so if in this world thanos erased half of all living things in THAT universe then they saved all the people that got erased then in a different world thanos never lived long enough to end up ending half of the universe or he is a super hero or just a civilian.
And no one is asking the Flawed question of Endgame timetravel logic
No matter if Captian A returns back the stones to original time, the past thanos is already in future, and effectively didnt snap... therefore Thor never missed the hammershot or Hulk never got beaten up by the Thanos until the End fight.
As a result, thor would not be chubby and hulk would still be in the angry mode. AND THIS IS JUST THE MYSTERY OF THE TWO OF THEM. THERE ARE SO MANY OTHER THAT GET AFFECTED

This is weird in captain america the first avenger the tesseract is there then it teleports red skull to where the soul stone is. So captain americe has the tesseract to him. Then he crashes the ship or plane and the tesseract with it and then we see it getting picked up from the ocean in the first avengers movie. Right? So how does it get in the hands of the kree then to gooses stomach, if it was in the ocean for the past 70 years?

It is more possible that it brings back thanos because he had much more possibilities to win the fight against the avengers. That one Iron Man of the timeline where thanos left, should be alive...but in every other scenario that rat didn't walk over the button in the van of ant man ...so he never came back and time travel gets invented. So in most of the universes thanos is alive and half of the avengers are dead.
