Very helpful, thank you
I did this for the first time today. the guy up at Cleveland West are super fast
Thanks man I really appreciate this!
Glad I could help!
Great video! Thanks!
I appreciate you watching!
On the Copart Transportation app, does it matter which I select 'Tow Provider' or 'Transporter' ?
I won a car through Auto Bid Master, and I will be picking up in person (with my own vehicle/trailer).
DOOD! Thats awesome. I used transporter option.
I look forward to seeing your video on it!
Did you have any issue picking you car up ? I'm planning on doing the same use broker and pick the vehicle myself.
How much
Hey bro! I saw in your video a truck loading 3 cars at once. Could you please guide how to order such truck in U-Haul or somewhere else ?
Not sure I know how to help with that one. I’ve used u-ship but that was for a single vehicle.
Nice. Can u pick vehicle from NV COPART to Freeport TX
Sorry, not for hire. I just haul my own projects.
Can you drive a clear titled vehicle off the lot if you are not a dealer and can actually get the car insured?
They call them drive outs. I've seen it happen. I think it depends on the yard. I will warn you - I've bought multiple that say run and drive. That just means it starts and moves....The one I have in the driveway now won't move more than 10 feet. I had another that would puke a quart of oil in a 1/4 mile. All fixable, but not drivable off the auction lot.
Can you transport a cargo van from Hampton VA to columbia sc. Serious inquiry
Thats not a gig for me. I appreciate you asking. Have you checked their bookable transport?
Can I drive off with a vechicle instead of getting it towed if its got no damage ?
Some places will let you but other won't. Some of the worker are funny
I'm only going to haul a vehicle that I buy. When setting up the transportation app I take it that need to choose transporter and not tow provider correct?
Correct. It will ask you for the lot number and the bidder number. Also, make sure you schedule your appointment. I've had a few yards less than pleased that I showed up unannounced....but most don't care. Also - thanks for the Carli adjustable trackbar video. I watched it a few months ago when I pulled the 3rd gen out of Copart. I was not sure what was up, but it was a half baked lift from the previous owner.
@BootstrapRevival thanks for the info brother and I'm going to subscribe. You're also welcome and thanks for watching my video.
No issues with autobidmaster? Im losing sleep over having to wire funds thinking that Ill never get to actually pick up the car.
Absolutely none. I’ve bought 6 in the past few months there. I was a bit freaked out wiring that much for the RV. It worked out. I apologize for the late response - how did it turn out?
How can I make a schedule through autobudmaster
It depends on the vehicle. First look at the vehicle you want. On AutoBidMaster on the lower left it will give you an estimated quote. Thats a good sign, that means the vehicle is listed in the normal vehicle category and not heavy or medium duty. If they list an estimate you can just add transport direct to you to your cart when you check out. Here is the kicker, if it says get a custom quote that means that vehicle is listed in the medium/heavy/trailer category. You'll need a custom quote. It is not guaranteed that they will find a transporter to move it in a timely manner. Personally I've had a Range Rover and a 4 door F350 transported in with no issues - but they both had shipping estimates on the bid page. Hope that helps!
Autobidmaster says your purchases HAS to be shipped to you but despite this it seems like they do allow purchasers to pick up vehicles like you did in this video with your own trailer. Is this something you can confirm from experience?
I can confirm 100% I've been able to pick up my own stuff. Pickup is on the Copart side, transport is on the AutoBidMaster side. You need 3 things to pick up a vehicle and any one with that info can do it.
1. Vehicle and storage fees have to be paid.
2. You need the Lot Number
3. You need the winning bidder's number (which happens to be your AutoBidMaster ID# - click your name in the upper right and you'll see it)
I've towed one camper out myself, self-towed 4 cars out on my trailer, booked their transport 4 times and had a heavy wrecker tow company pull the motorhome out. If you were having a friend or independent transport company, do it you just give them the info above.
Hope that helps.
So if I bought a car can my buddy go pick it up and just register on the Copart transportation app?
Yes. After it’s paid for he needs your bidder number and the lot number.
Also - use the schedule feature ahead of time. I had one yard one time give me grief that I just showed up - but they loads me right away.

Great video! If i purchase a trailer, can i hook it up to my truck? or does transport need to be arranged for it?
I bought an RV camp trailer and they let me tow it out with my truck.
@@BootstrapRevival awesome! Can you tow it without plates? Or what are you supposed to do in that case?
@@HANGARPerformance Copart wont issue plates. I printed off a temp trip permit from my state for a few bucks.
So you can pick it up with your Own Truck and my state allows trip permits
You can pick it up yourself. I would recommend not driving them out as they might have hidden issues. Let us know how it goes!

Can I use a uhual car hauler trailer?
Absolutely. I’ve seen both U-Haul trailers and U-Haul tow dollys being loaded there.
Can I drive off with a vechicle if it’s hot no damage ?
I have seen it happen. The front office called it a drive out. I can't promise every yard will let you do that. I will caution you though, I've seen plenty listed as run and drive that could not make it every far. (Blown head gaskets, dumping oil, slipping trans, etc.)
@@BootstrapRevival thank you, yours was the best video on CZcams on this subject.
It’s copart policy that every bought vehicle needs to be transported by trailer not driven due to the state not wanting unsafe or broken down vehicles on the road way but nearly 1/3rd the cars I bring out to members at multiple yards are driven out and not enforced.
What is less expensive copart trailer or a company else
Hard to say. I've used their transport twice and it was extremely reasonable and about what I'd expect to pay locally. I do know having them manage finding the tow driver, making sure they have all the right info for pickup is much less hassle. If you buy one let us know how it goes.
I just scheduled delivery from a third party directly from the co parts website. The price was very reasonable. I scheduled the transport right before the thanksgiving break so it is taking a while to get sent out.
@@nachosti1232 Me too! Sale was the day before Thanksgiving, and it has not been picked up yet. Hoping for tomorrow!
Hi this is Gul Mangal i want to start this job from where can i do it. kindly guide me i will appreciate it Thanks
Sorry Gul, I'm no professional hot shot driver. I only pick up my own vehicles.
How much did u buy the car for
I think the winning bid was $1,300.
Can you hire a tow truck company to take it home if I do not have a trailer myself?
Yes. They just need your bidder number and a lot number. You can also book transport with Copart or your broker. I’ve used them and it’s generally competitive and less hassle.
@@BootstrapRevival Thanks for the reply, just registered and paid my membership on copart, now registering for autobidmaster.
Hoping these fees wont destroy the profits, I’m trying to fix them up and sell them back. I suppose the only way to learn and grow is to try
@@kelpodelpog5395 Hello. May I ask where you live? Not exact address! Just the state would be plenty! Lol. I am starting a car hauling business out of Richmond Va and I am trying gauge this type of business (# of loads /frequency). Thank you for any info and have a great day! Reid Griffin
How has that been going for you? @kelpodelpog5395 I’ve been thinking about doing the same thing
@@juliocruz5617 my broker had a towing service that i ended up having to use. It was like $200
Hey that’s me in the loader no way
They will hold the title if you owe money, until you pay it off .
No, you have to pay in full before it is released from the yard.
@@BootstrapRevival they must have change cause they held my title until I sent the money I owe for storage . I went thru it already.
Does it have to be a full trailer or can it be a car dolly as well???
