I think what he meant there, is that Pentious'es voice is the least impressive. He knows it's Brightman. But Brightman already does quite the job with hiding his true talent with all the hissing and squirting. Singing with that sort of challenge would be quite impressive. I have a very specific way I invision this idea going: For most of the song it would be basically what finn described in the video, Nifty showing the staff arround, talking to the rest of the crew, etc. Of course, with a few snippets here and there of her insane demenor, like talking about giving bugs a painfull death or something. But, during the second verse, she'd be telling the DOs and DON'Ts of keeping the place tidy(How to be niffty, if you will). But then, when you'd expect the final chorus to start, the verse just keeps going, Niffty continues by giving exact and weirdly specific steps, inadvertantly just telling her entire backstory as she keeps going faster and faster while the instruments keep playing the same final set of notes getting more out of tune and distorted as you can faintly hear her maniacal laughter in the background as the camera zooms in closer and closer to her as she just keeps going to the point of not even singing anymore(kinda like angel in the last verse of poison, but faster). Then it abruptly goes completely silent as the camera zooms out, with Niffty letting out a quiet giggle as the other characters look at her in horror, only for her to just look at them and go: "Wait what was I talking about?" At this point the song could either just end here, *or* Niffty could continue onto the final chorus like nothing happened. Except the intruments are a little out of tune(like the last chorus of hell is forever) and you can hear her voice in the background crudely imitating the instruments. That would be neat.

I love the idea of Sir Pentious getting a reprise, but not of It Starts with Sorry, but of Welcome to Heaven. I’m imagining Pent singing it to himself in a much more somber tone. It would be about how he should be happy he’s in Heaven, listing off the realms the original song does, but just wishes he can experience this is with his friends. Also your Sera song idea made me think of her singing a reprise of Ready for This, with Sera asking if she and Heaven are really ready for this, this being the idea of sinners being redeemed.

She was more backup to Adam’s song Hell is Forever” and a Duet with him in the lyrics “Did you forget that He’ll is Forever!?” in the second verse of “You didn’t know”. Now we need a hard but also surprisingly heartbreaking song about how she feels that the Heaven she’s fought for is changing and the loss of Adam. why do people think whatever it takes is bad, it’s an emotional masterpiece of a song, the fact that carmella hits all the high notes is gorgeous and the meaning of vaggie’s section makes more sense now that we have the info that she was an angel, she feels in debt to Charlie because she killed her people and she saved her life so she wants to be her armor for as long as she can also husk only featured in 2 songs, being loser, baby and the show must go on. so definitely want to hear more from him cause the 2 songs he has are some of the best in the entire show.
The truth is I don't understand it either, I say it being one of my favorites and hey if it were how they put it in the story I would say that if it wasn't the best implemented but that is a problem with the writing in general along with having 2 songs per episode but the same one very good in general and very catchy
As a former Whatever It Takes hater now turned lover, let me explain why I didn't like it (and why I now do) In the show, it's given no build up. And I don't necessarily mean narratively, but musically. Zestial beginning to sing was a jumpscare, not because of Zestial but because there was no lead in. The rhyme scheme and solid rhythm does not kick in until later, so for a first time listener it doesn't feel catchy. Whenever it appeared in my Hazbin playlist, I skipped it for that reason because it just wasn't memorable the first time, and isn't a good song to vibe to. (Basically bc it's heartfelt and a ballad). Also, I just don't like Vaggie singing high notes, not because it sounds bad, but because it doesn't sound like Vaggie. It just feels weaker than other songs and especially other duets we've gotten. But actually listening to it a few times, separate from its scene in the show, it grew on me. The loose/no rhyming makes it seem more genuine (an example of that I can think of is Kindergarten Boyfriend from Heathers, while very different, it has little/no rhyme, making it feel like the character is just speaking from their heart). It greatly helps that Camila's VA is so wonderfully talented, hearing her lead that song was amazing. So, it's a good song. It got done dirty by the placing of it in the show.

When Lucifer and Lilith reunite, I think a song that is akin to For the Dancing and the Dreaming from How to Train Your Dragon 2 and Nothing Left to Lose from Tangled the Series. They both apologize for what they have done - Lilith leaving her family for seven years, Lucifer for leaving Lilith to shoulder the entire responsibility of Hell, before reaffirming their love. More or less renewing their wedding vows from long ago when they first met.

As Adam got his own song last season, I predict a solo for Lute (revenge, responsabilities, contempt for sinners... the whole she-bang) so they have one proper character song each; and a duet for just Lute and Adam being a reprisal or Out for love or a metal ballad inspired by the latter and more than anything as a climax for their reunion, conflict and resolve. Remember that Adam and Lute act as foils to Charlie and Vaggie, but in reality they might end up having a lot of parallels.

Honestly I wanna see Valentino get a song. He is the only one of the Vees to not be heard sing that much really. Given his looks and history I could see him doing a slight disco themed or Elton John style number. Maybe in season 2 angel dust is making headway distancing and standing up for himself. The ballad could be him finding a way to pull angel hack to him by either faking romance with a Elton John number or him making a evil plan with vox to get him back underfood since Vix uses Val to get subject matter to stream on screens. Idea A Sir Pentious song about his frantically explaining to Sera his story leading up to this. While Emily chimes in until the end where they both sing together. It could be a really sweet and maybe even triumphant song for Pentious and even made a neat way to recap ppl who jumped into the season without rewatching the first season episodes and need a quick refresher.
I can see a wholesome scene were Sera vents to Emily and Sir Pentious on how her poor judgment led to the deaths of both angles and sinners who could have been redeemed, how her own pride and ignorance caused so much suffering, how she failed to live up to what she fells was expected of her, and now she feels she is no longer deserving of being a seraphim, this strikes a cord with Sir Pentious as this mirrors when Vox abandoned when he was discovered to be a spy, how despite everything he did, Charlie was willing to give him a second chance, and that led to him becoming the redeemed soul he is now, so remembering the example Charlie set for him, wile Sera is huddled in a corner ashamed of herself and Emily unsure what to do, Sir Pentious would slither to Sera, get her attention, and as she looks up, she sees him smiling wile offering his hand to her, inevitably beginning a reprisal of the song he and Charlie sung, with the lyrics reflecting how he once felt undeserving of forgiveness yet found it anyway and got redeemed because he took that second chance and made himself a better person, and that because Sera feels such guilt for her wrongdoings, that means she's deserving of a second chance too.
I need a Lute solo (which I'm p sure we're getting based on Jess' tweets), a Husk solo, and Al solo, an upbeat Chaggie duet, a Vees group number, a Niffty solo (or two 👀), another Charlie and Emily duet, a VoxVal duet, a Pentious solo, and a Lucilith duet. Unlikely but a group number with Carmilla, Clara, Odette, and Zestial would be fun I think! We have so many wonderful singers, I need S2 packed with a variety of songs XD even if some of the characters' solos are just parts of songs I think I would be happy lol. I love the idea of Sir Pentious getting a reprise, but not of It Starts with Sorry, but of Welcome to Heaven. I’m imagining Pent singing it to himself in a much more somber tone. It would be about how he should be happy he’s in Heaven, listing off the realms the original song does, but just wishes he can experience this is with his friends. Also your Sera song idea made me think of her singing a reprise of Ready for This, with Sera asking if she and Heaven are really ready for this, this being the idea of sinners being redeemed.

As a former Whatever It Takes hater now turned lover, let me explain why I didn't like it (and why I now do)
In the show, it's given no build up. And I don't necessarily mean narratively, but musically. Zestial beginning to sing was a jumpscare, not because of Zestial but because there was no lead in. The rhyme scheme and solid rhythm does not kick in until later, so for a first time listener it doesn't feel catchy. Whenever it appeared in my Hazbin playlist, I skipped it for that reason because it just wasn't memorable the first time, and isn't a good song to vibe to. (Basically bc it's heartfelt and a ballad). Also, I just don't like Vaggie singing high notes, not because it sounds bad, but because it doesn't sound like Vaggie. It just feels weaker than other songs and especially other duets we've gotten.
But actually listening to it a few times, separate from its scene in the show, it grew on me. The loose/no rhyming makes it seem more genuine (an example of that I can think of is Kindergarten Boyfriend from Heathers, while very different, it has little/no rhyme, making it feel like the character is just speaking from their heart). It greatly helps that Camila's VA is so wonderfully talented, hearing her lead that song was amazing.
So, it's a good song. It got done dirty by the placing of it in the show.
As a Niffty fan, those ideas are actually really good, and I hope something similar happens, because she's so underrated imo

As Adam got his own song last season, I predict a solo for Lute (revenge, responsabilities, contempt for sinners... the whole she-bang) so they have one proper character song each; and a duet for just Lute and Adam being a reprisal or Out for love or a metal ballad inspired by the latter and more than anything as a climax for their reunion, conflict and resolve. Honestly I wanna see Valentino get a song. He is the only one of the Vees to not be heard sing that much really. Given his looks and history I could see him doing a slight disco themed or Elton John style number. Maybe in season 2 angel dust is making headway distancing and standing up for himself. The ballad could be him finding a way to pull angel hack to him by either faking romance with a Elton John number or him making a evil plan with vox to get him back underfood since Vix uses Val to get subject matter to stream on screens. Hello, Number 1 Nifty Fan here, Nifty did sing The Show Does Go On. She gets one line. The rest are background vocals.
Missed an opportunity for a bitter sweet Pentious ballad titled "This is It?" because he's the success story Charlie put her all into but now he's cut off from all the friends he's made in a place of people who may be very hostile to him.
(Though I think it'd be neat to introduce his son that was hinted at in the pilot. Dramatic follow up to foreshadowing in the form of a joke.)
Thank you for saying they needed more variety. The only non- Broadway style or Pop numbers were Adam and Husk’s. Get us a proper upbeat Jazz number with Alastor, a show choir number with Emily and the Archangels, a tech bop with Cherri, a haunting villain song from Zestial, anything to add variety of time periods!

A Sir Pentious song about his frantically explaining to Sera his story leading up to this. While Emily chimes in until the end where they both sing together.
It could be a really sweet and maybe even triumphant song for Pentious and even made a neat way to recap ppl who jumped into the season without rewatching the first season episodes and need a quick refresher.
I can see a wholesome scene were Sera vents to Emily and Sir Pentious on how her poor judgment led to the deaths of both angles and sinners who could have been redeemed, how her own pride and ignorance caused so much suffering, how she failed to live up to what she fells was expected of her, and now she feels she is no longer deserving of being a seraphim, this strikes a cord with Sir Pentious as this mirrors when Vox abandoned when he was discovered to be a spy, how despite everything he did, Charlie was willing to give him a second chance, and that led to him becoming the redeemed soul he is now, so remembering the example Charlie set for him, wile Sera is huddled in a corner ashamed of herself and Emily unsure what to do, Sir Pentious would slither to Sera, get her attention, and as she looks up, she sees him smiling wile offering his hand to her, inevitably beginning a reprisal of the song he and Charlie sung, with the lyrics reflecting how he once felt undeserving of forgiveness yet found it anyway and got redeemed because he took that second chance and made himself a better person, and that because Sera feels such guilt for her wrongdoings, that means she's deserving of a second chance too.
I need a Lute solo (which I'm p sure we're getting based on Jess' tweets), a Husk solo, and Al solo, an upbeat Chaggie duet, a Vees group number, a Niffty solo (or two 👀), another Charlie and Emily duet, a VoxVal duet, a Pentious solo, and a Lucilith duet. Unlikely but a group number with Carmilla, Clara, Odette, and Zestial would be fun I think! We have so many wonderful singers, I need S2 packed with a variety of songs XD even if some of the characters' solos are just parts of songs I think I would be happy lol. If Adam were to get a death metal song I want it to end with sort of a backwards from the part where Charlie is singing in "Hell is Forever" before Adam interrupts her.
It goes from him singing to Charlie singing as he looks over to the rebuilt Hazbin Hotel possibly thinking of giving Charlie's crazy redemption idea a try. I mean he's got nothing left to loose. He lost both of his wives, his home, his position, his life twice, and his dignity.
The music in the background resembling that the person he thought was crazy, naïve, and stupid is his only hope now.

When you said you wanted a song for Sera, it reminded me of a fan-made for her. It's called "Heaven Is Changing" by MilkyyMelodies, and she did an outstanding job in vocals.
I think Nifty should have an emotional song describing her tragic backstory, but she doesn't get that its sad. Just kind of says it like she says everything else.
