We have hurricanes here on the SC coast, but no winds that just pop up midday (and almost just as strong as a TS!) and then die away. Crazy that you have to deal with that all the time! Thank you for showing us. You had little warning....at least with hurricanes we have days to prepare.

Laura, I don't know about anyone else, but I can rarely hear ANY background noise (unless someone is mowing very close to you). I don't think you need to worry about it.
You all correct me if that is not (or is also) your experience.

Hello, that windstorm was cool/ dangerous happy all the trees and plants survived and no one was hurt. I think where the boxwoods stops is fine but I do think you need something along the pathway area. Something low growth with blooms no more boxwoods.Shame no water to that koko bush 😜luckily it has you! Now all is well .nice seeing you momma Laura take care

Wow, you really got a wind storm. We had a huge wind a few years ago. Trees were coming down by the hundreds , it was crazy.

Geez! That reminded me of the winds of Oklahoma! I remember having to bend forward while walking home from school, so I wouldn’t get blown away. 😅
Thankfully, we don’t get wind like that where I live now.

I live on the eastern plains of Colorado, we get wind and storms like that as well. I didn’t realize your area did also!
I just love the silver gumdrops in that area. Thank you for sharing

I got my kneeling pad!!! Yeaaaa! So soft! Thank you. Glad you changed your mind on where you put the heuchera. I was thinking exactly what you said. Plus it gives that baby one a chance to grow 😊

I love the idea of Boxwoods down the lane with a small opening on the side to access the next opening. Would you ever consider planting those roses in the ground in that spot?

I think it would be beautiful and so fragrant to line both sides with lavender.

I am glad you decided to put the Heuchera's in a different spot as I too liked just the shades of green in that spot of your garden. I was thinking they would hide the little plant (hosta?) behind that beautiful green hosta you were mentioning at 3:04.
Also, can you please do a video on how you organise all your supplies and tools in the barn? I love looking at and getting inspiration of organised areas.

That's crazy to me that you guys are still getting freezing temps when we're on the 90s already over here in Tampa, FL. At least you guys have a spring we go from winter bam to summer so be blessed.
