Before I get to my main point, Yes Clare Gaelic footballers deserved to win that day and had a reasonable good team. But it will a long time hear them winning Munster again. Not from Cork. But Cork have better tradition than Clare, Limerick and Tipperary Gaelic footballers put together.
At the time i remember we in Clare said "Theyll be back next year".........They were never seen again.....Extraordinary........
