This is a polarizing pair I’ve found via the reception they’ve received online. Personally I think there’s one of the best dunks I’ve seen in the last decade. Really carries the OG feeling of SB by being avant-garde.
I initially wasn't feeling these but now that I know the story and see them thanks to you Bluetile I like them!

I did Mitch match lace swap with these the green on one and the orange on the other it gose hard some dont like it but i dont like to fit in and think everyone can do what they want with there shoes

Not sure how long you’ve been skating but as long as I can remember graphics and skateboarders have been vocal about who they are and what they care about. We’ve seen graphics with Jesus on the bottom, Satan, George W., Obama… we’ve seen hanging clansman, we’ve seen boards depicting Trump shaking hands with the klan or in clown make up. Real, 101, world industries, strange love, anti-hero, FA, alien work shop…. Brian fucking Anderson has stood up for who he is publicly through his board graphics. I just finished skating that board…. Politics have always been a part of skateboarding… this one just rubs you the wrong way because you have a problem with it.
@@DavidBluetile the only time skateboarding and politics have mixed, is when skaters are making fun of something. Quite literally all the examples you mentioned were made in jest. I think it’s silly that Nike will co-sign and attempt to validate a skate company that doesn’t deserve validation. It’s nothing but a bunch of posers on that team with the exception of Chandler Burton and Poe. But even they’re doing sketchy half assed tricks that you can see any day of the week at a skatepark. Go look thru the comments of their recent Nike vid. Lol
Don’t have to read the comments. I already know haters gonna hate. Deluxe distributes There skateboards…. That’s the realest distribution in skateboarding. I see it as this… queer folk are having their own renaissance in skateboarding just like we did in the mid 80s. We got beat up and hated for it. There are a million pros that bring nothing to skateboarding. At least There is offering an invitation to people who may not feel accepted in skateboarding to jump on board and skate! Sometimes you have to say “hey yall, lgbtq is invited” because just expecting everyone to feel welcome is overlooking the very real narrative that queer people are often not accepted in places that are supposedly “inclusive” by the “just don’t talk about it crowd”. Sometimes ya gotta say … I mean you over there.. the person who feels like nobody sees them…. You’re invited too.
One more example of politics on a skateboard. Mike V animal farm. He’s literally telling everyone “I’m vegetarian” and his not kidding. It’s not in jest.
