- Second week of apartment hunting in Shanghai! This week we focus on century old buildings like Laneway houses and heritage ones. Few more weeks before we move out, have we finally found the one??

@@JohannesLee I am actually at least once a year in town 🙌 In the past to see my friends but most left because of the lock down. I was there from 2010-2013-the good old days where the street vendors were still a thing and THE APARTMENT was my go-to place. That was my Carrie Bradshaw era! Now back in Switzerland…❤️

The rent to space ratio seems to be quite good compared to what one will get in NYC
Yeah I do watch NYC apartment hunting and apartment tours. It looks so expensive indeed!! Yikes.
Hong Kong is even more expensive too vs Shanghai and much smaller of a space..

I lived in one of those in shanghai 1 bedroom for ab $1K ,I loved it but it was a bit cold in winter and mine was really old , these that you showed are so expensive and all renovated
Same here. I used to live in a super old one and with AC only. Rather cold in the winter especially the bathroom 🤭🤭
