I listen to this song once in a while in my truck and even dedicated to my 24 yr old daughter whom doesnt talk to me ... one morning my 4yr old daughter wakes me up, and tells me its me and you dad..when she was watching videos in my ph. now, I just love it..big knot in my throat how a 4yr old thinks.. My own daughter sent me this song. She loves music that reminds her of her deddy and me. We had "hwy 20 ride" by zac brown dedicated to our two kids in 2012 at his birmingham concert. Our kids first concert ever. And my baby girl has never forgotten it. Sad dedicating this song to these kids of divorced families. It cost us a pretty penny including concert tickets but it was so very worth it. I wish I could post the video here. There's kids ages 12 and older who love this song and their Daddies

I have had to make alot of hard choices in my life. The hardest one ever was knowing that after the devorice His father was able to provide a better more stable home for him than i could at the time. Then when i did have life ready to bring him home, he was already home. With his father and step mother. Again i had to make the choice that was unselfish for my child. I see him all the time. we have wonderful times together but this song says how i truly feel about him. Devin you are always here!

it's nice when a famous singer takes time out to be w his daughter you should always have time w your kids w love a alot of Attention a thank God for your blessings a not put your career above your family because when they get older they rember who spent time w them.
