maybe it feels better hearin it on youtube (max is at 160 kbps i think) but still technically spotifys max (320 kbps) is lossy (lossy basicaly makes a file smaller which destroys some of the quality mp3 for example or the ones that yt is using .ogg opus and others) and lossless (makes the file smaller but it only destroys almost 0.01% of its quality flac for example) or normal audio cds disks and .wav are the best websites like bandcamp.com do have flac wav and audio disks for example btw if you change files to another extension ogg to mp3 for example the quality gets lost anyways 1st because you cant make quality better again and 2nd everytime you change the extension it gets worse cuz they are simply just not the same so they make things diffrently smaller than others still you sometimes cant trust audio disks flac wav files sometimes artist already change it to bad these bad ones and then make it a cd or something atleast thats what i think some do you can test it but yeah idk sorry for my weird text and english
With YT premium, you get the ability to switch off your mobile's screen while still play your desired audio/video. There are waaaaaay more music uploads in youtube than on spotify. You get both vids and music so I really don't get why you'd go for a premium account in Spotify
