A prism tank benefits much more from elite promotions in this scenario than an apocalypse tank does because apocs are going to oneshot prisms regardless so boosting the former's firepower doesn't really achieve anything.

@@dhdyfufu2904 Veteran prisms get enough extra hit points to withstand one round from apocs but the veteran apocs get extra hit points to survive alot more prism beams along with a significant attack speed increase, which effectively cancels out the lone hp benefit gained by veteran prism tanks.
nope thats not the point. its simple. 5 units befefit more from veteran than 1
you have this result in all scenarios when many weak units fight against 1 strong unit.

I tend to think of Prisim Tanks more as direct fire artillery than a tank.
They are closer to role that of a V3 than say a Telsa Tank.

Ah yes, my two favorite tanks from RA2.
If I'm fighting against Yuri, I find that I much prefer the Prism tank, as they outrange almost every defensive structure he has, so I don't have to deal with mind control.
Going against Allied or Soviet forces, it just depends on how I'm feeling for that particular skirmish. Sometimes I run Apoc, sometimes Prism, or if I manage to capture an AI base to give myself both tech trees, I'll amas an army of both.
Except Magnetrons outrange and insta-hit Prisms leaving Allies with 0 counter. Not to mention that Yuri discs also own everything the Allies have.
man apocalypse is tough, wish you could do a 1v1 against a mammoth tank and apocalypse.
The game runs on the same engine as tib sun so you could mod in the old mammys the mutants sometimes use

How many tank kills until Apoc is promoted? Thought for sure after the third or fourth kill they'd be promoted; this would have increased the number of kills, possibly.

Apocs have a few disadvantages because if not they would be broken, but they are quite versitile, strong and can also attack air.
Prism tanks are fantastic, they eliminate anything if you have a swarm of them, but that is something that really happen only if you play against an ai

Both tanks are the typical rush units from each faction. The Apocalypse is all around type, while the Prism is meant for structures. Also, the Prism is a better anti-infantry tank than the Apocalypse, it can kill most infantry units in 1 blast.
I like the ending. If you build a circular wall in the middle, their object guard should make them move in infinite circles around the wall.

Prisms are a scale unit. They scale with promotions and in numbers. Try 10 elite prisms vs 7 equal elite Apocs to balance the same cost.

В игре всегда танк призма намного лучше апокалипсиса ! Дальность большая , хорошо пробивает здания и бьет лучами призма по области. 1 на 1 танк апокалипсис конечно сильнее призмы . А в игре призма намного полезнее апокалипсиса. А вот когда скажем 30 призм против 30 апокалипсисов то в этом случае апокалипсисы даже не доедут до призм! Их уничтожат призмы на подходе. Сомневаюсь что хоть одна призма пострадает .
Как бы не 1на1, а 1на5 лучше. 10 призм стоит как 7 апокалипсисов
30 призм и 30 апокалипсисов это не реалистичные выдуманные сценарии. В таком случае апокалипсисы раздвигают по сторонам и призмы дай бог 5 штук успеют вынести. Тем более что на видео 12 призм без лычек еле-еле забирают апокалипсис с двух выстрелов. Кому кстати проще получить лычки, одному апокалипсису или 12 призмам, ну так, для понимания?
@@Hellafast2uDude кароче когда я играл еше в ra2 делал кучу призм и выносил всех наземных юнитов. Не важно сколько там апокалов. Когда куча призм колтчество апокалов не имеет значения. Всегда их мочил. Я пишу про игру не тестовый бой в открытом поле. В бою ты никак не обойдешь призмы с двух сторон или трех итд. Тем боле за рашку. Ну не получиться , никто не будет танковать призмами. Если прут апокалы то стреляй на отходе и писда им. Пока ты наштампуешь апокалов я снесу твою базу призмами. Я пишу про эфективность юнита в реальном бою. Апокалипсис один из самых бесполезных юнитов против сша. Да и вообще там нет баланса. Ссср просирает по всем фронтам. Что солдаты у них отстой что спец юнит тесла что корабли с ракетами что дерижабли киров. Это очень легко контриться за сша. Вот тот же солдат 1 на 1 он убьет солдата сша а если с 3 лычками они будут то кто ? Я уже не помню но вроде солдат сша побеждал. А теперь про эфективность этих солдат. Солдат ссср бестолковый юнит и протв техники нулевой. А солдат сша с 3 лычками и в окопе может не один танк уничтожить. А десяток таких чуваков очень сильно. Так же как и с апокалами. Раз на раз очень сильный а реальная польза юнита так себе. Дорогой очень. Медленный, дальность маленькая.

Prism tank is pretty/op powerful as a group and apocalypse tank is strong alone or a group.
