    White talon stitching is gone. It’s color matched now. Much better.

    Today I got the grey stealth version you have. Never been happier. A superb bag 😃
    It’s under £100 now in the UK

    Had the 22 since 2013, it’s the best bag of all time.

      I’ve been using it a lot. It’s super solid. Becoming my top grab.

      @@YankeeTankerOutdoors Insane how light / low profile it is physically. Love the thicker denier fabric in the 2018-2019 model, 2021 model seems interesting, LOVE that color on your backpack, wow just mind blowing.

    I have the Talon 22 & 44. Love them both. Use the 22 for biking & day hikes, and the 44 for longer hikes. Great packs. 👍🏼

    Incredibly helpful. It looks like there’s a loop for an ice axe as well for those winter ascents

    Nice video, thanks! Also changed my hikelite 26 for the Talon 22 (before I saw your video). The main reason was that the one sized backlength of the hikelite didn't fit properly so I ended up buying the Talon 22 in L/XL. Also, the Hip Belt is way better at the Talon

    thanks for this review. i also have an Osprey with an Air Speed frame and annoyed with the reduced space and the difficulty putting a water bladder in it. You should mention the water bladder compartment on the Tallon 22 as it is much better designed. I also hated the stitching on older model and just ordered this bag you reviewed. 👍

    I'm in the middle of trading my Radial 34 for one of these with a friend. The Radial was nice but the volume was too big for my needs. I did want to note that the attachment for helmets fits an adult size helmet only, and you need to make sure the vent size on yours will fit it through without forcing it. Thankfully I gave it a test run on my old helmet, because the vent size happened to be just small enough that I put it through, and just on the way through the top, it caught on the plastic and cracked the plastic on top of my helmet. I wasn't bent out of shape about it because I'm getting a bigger size helmet anyway. But, don't try to attach your child's helmet on there, a damaged helmet is a dangerous helmet! Also, take a look at yours before buying. Thanks for the review!!

    For ventilation I think I would prefer the system on the hikelite... ventilation is a big thing for me. Should I go for hikelite?

    Thanks for the review! When I looked on Amazon I saw there is this new model but couldn’t find out much about the difference from the old one; so, youer video was perfect.
    And I was delighted to see your Peak Design Capture Clip mounted on the strap! I’ve been using a Talon 11 but it is too small but I was concerned the Capture Clip wouldn’t fit. Thank you!

    Do you think the airscape gets a lot hotter comparing to the airspeed?

    • @YankeeTankerOutdoors
      @YankeeTankerOutdoors  Před 3 lety +1

      Hard to tell. Logically I think that the airspeed would just stay cooler.

      You need to measure. Actually if you go to Gregory’s website they show you how to measure yourself. Height isn’t as important as your torso length. If you are by an REI they will measure you as well.
