Multiple people have had mirrored doors (closet sliding door that is basically a mirror and sliding medicine cabinet mirror) be pushed from the inside with nothing there. I have plenty of excitement. Sis literally couldn't open her closet door for a minute too, and so of course when she could she searched the closet really well. I checked the cabinet for mice. Also nothing.
And that's just one incident. There have been many others. My dumb horror movie character butt decided that's why we had to move back here, well that and the house was cheap and liveable and our current living situation was terrible. 😹 (House was my mom's before.)

Honestly dang near peed myself when my mom brought one home that was made by a board game company. I was like but what this... Isn't a game.
But one place I went to wanted $30 for the board game and $300 for a very shoddy one and I'm like nope. I can get myself into enough trouble without any aid anyway so probably don't need this. Nope. I'm dumb, but I'm broke and not that dumb. 😹

@@erykcarlson2756 EverymanHYBRID featured a villain who issued commands to the viewers via twitter and he always called them "rabbits" in the same creepy dehumanizing way. It's a fantastic series but if you're anything like me you'll need to watch the Night Mind analysis between seasons to understand what's going on :p
Can you imagine working in a call centre, and the random number caller calls one of the ARG numbers and you're like "Hello this is [name] from [name of the company], we would like to offer you our premium-" and you start hearing people overlayed over each other saying cryptic stuff like "I never got to say goodbye to them/ I wish I could contact them again/ I've lost my grandmother a few years ago and I regret never saying goodbye to her." Like I would die lol

Edit: I also feel like I should commend this project for having clear - and explained - opt-outs for anyone who needs it - something that I feel is of the utmost importance for these kinds of horror ARGs.

If you go to the “tickets” page, the text flips upside down every few seconds; there’s some words at the top when the text flips but I can’t make it out because it’s only there for like half a second.. can anyone read it?

The headmaster kinda came off as a jerk to me. Charisma is one thing but it seems like Ian played a bit too hard in the whole 'I'm above you' angle.
It feels like someone who read r/redpill and learned about negging, and thought it would make for an engaging ARG.
At first, I was curious about "this box". Two letters in, I only thought to myself, "No, please keep your box, it doesn't seem worth it, thank you"
@Yeet Yote If he actually believes that than that is just pathetic. If, the more likely case, it's him playing up and being 'method' with his character then does it really matter? He wants clout and overall attention for his project, you don't accomplish that by being a douche.
I would not be surprised if this turned into an actual cult because of how much the suckers who do buy into it are negged. It's especially disgusting now upon rewatching that this specific experience focuses around vulnerable people who have lost loved ones and have at least some surface level belief in the supernatural. Basically a bunch of indicators of being gullible.
The more I think about this, the more disgusted I feel about this whole situation.

@@flapjackoctopus7282 idk it could also just be because shipping internationally would be prohibitively expensive, has a higher chance of getting lost, and perhaps they're worried that customs will disagree with something inside/open the boxes before it arrived to the buyer? I think people should strive to be more inclusive but shipping is a major hurdle for a lot of folks. Although I guess at $150 alreadg, paying a high amount for shipping wouldn't be hugely problematic.

It feels so refreshing to see a classic, cryptic website-style ARG before the genre mostly became CZcams shows.
Great vid as always! I was pretty involved in iConfidant for a while but unfortunately had to drop out due to some unforeseen life stuff that came up. I was tempted to try again with One Day Die (but felt bad for having accidentally wasted their time with iConfidant by dropping out) so ultimately did not.
I definitely see a lot of similarities in the way One Day Die and the iConfidant experience were ran and written (and I think I even recognize some of the voices in the voicemail montage from folks I talked to during my experiences with iConfidant).
I really appreciate at least being able to continue to follow along with the games from you and the folks involved and everyone keeping records of the events.
I have confidence that there are no hard feelings. Life happens and you are not chained to your participation. Don’t let guilt dissuade you from having a future experience. Buy the box and join us again. 🖤
