Thanks G&T team for taking the cover off (apokalupto) and showing us that talk is cheap.
This one cut me deep as I am guilty (of all talk and no action). A&P to the believing (acting) all.
    James 2:14
“What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?”
15: If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,
16: And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?
17: Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

God´s plan is to restore his communion lost with Adam (humanity in hebrew, which means ALL humanity) That is the CORE IDEA trough all the Bible... his plan goes forward in blessing all the nations in the faith of Abraham, (father of nations) To Israel joined all kinds of people when exiting Egypt, that is the esence of Gods will and plan, to make from two peoples, israelites and strangers of the nations ONE united nation. which is in esence all the families of humanity. To his first disciples, who were jews Jesus said: John 10:16 " And OTHER SHEEP I have, WHICH ARE NOT of this fold: (not jews but gentiles) them ALSO I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; AND THERE SHALL BE ONE FOLD, and one shepherd".(made of jews and gentiles) Peter was sent by God to preach first to the jews (his first sermon in pentecost) and later to the gentiles (Cornelious) So all the congregations of the first century consisted of jews and gentiles gathered in peace without the former antipathy of the traditional jews caused by mingling with uncircumcised people, , (you can see that James writes to the twelve tribes , those are obviously jews but jews who accepted non circumcised gentiles in their synagogues) they now had peace , that is the peace the Lord brought, not like the world´s but Gods peace amongst ALL nations jews and gentiles..., to the efesians Shaul told: Ef 2:14 "For he is our peace, who hath made BOTH ONE, (Both what? R= Both peoples) and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; (Us whom? R= Jews and gentiles)
Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, (the wall and enmity between jews and gentiles is caused by the issue of circumcision, the word flesh indicates it) even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of TWAIN ONE NEW MAN, so making peace" (This is peace among men, the frase ONE NEW MAN indicates it). Meaning that circumcised jews abode in communion with non circumcised gentiles, that is the accomplishement of Gods plan through Jesus who made all, jews and gentiles, circumcised and uncircumcised, sons of Abraham. And about predestination you have to read all the way to verse 12 of Efesians 1...not only v 4 , 5 or 11... till verse 12 says : "That we should be to the praise of his glory,WHO FIRST TRUSTED in Christ." That in greek is "proelpikotas" which is used in the sense of pre-hope. It is Israel who pre-hoped in the coming of the annointed, not the gentiles who knew nothing about the profets, so predestination refers to
Israel.. "to the jew first" Romans 1:16 , Another misconception is the term FOREKNEW of Romans 8:29 "For whom he did FOREKNEW, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren." The greek there is "proegno" used in the sense of "knowing" like husband and wife to bear fruit, notice the resemblance with the word "pregnancy" that is the same meaning of Adam knowing his wife. Adam came inside Eve.. To the ones God foreknew "proegno" means he abode amomg Israel and gave them his holy spirit , so he was INSIDE them knowing them before Jesus came. The foundation of the world is Jesus the rock of our salvation, the rock God founded in Sion. Before the foundation of the world means before Jesus the foundational rock came. Here we are talking about the world to come; Hebrews 2:5 " For unto the angels hath he not put in subjection the world to come, whereof we speak." The foundation of the world is NOT the creation of the earth of Genesis, but what Jesus the second Adam did as the foundational rock on whom the world, meaning all nations, meaning jews and gentiles are to live now in peace as a new man making no difference between them (that is the new Adam the new humanity). He foreknew, "proegno" he was inside Israel before Jesus the foundational rock of the world came: Here Shaul is clearly talking about Israel his people and not in a spiritual meaning Romans 11:1 I "Say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an ISRAELITE of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. God hath not cast away his people WHICH HE FOREKNEW." Also Hoseah says God knew Israel obviously before Jesus came Hoseah 13.4-5
"Yet I am the LORD thy God from the land of Egypt, and THOU SHALT KNOW NO god but me: for there is no saviour beside me.
I DID KNOW THEE in the wilderness, in the land of great drought." And when reading the letters of Shaul you have to know that when he says "We" he might mean in most of the cases we the jews because he was a jew, and when he says "You" he means you the gentiles...when he says "we have being predestinated" he means the jews. Proorizo means the spiritual horizon and goal Israel saw in the tabernacle... It was Jesus,, that was for them the future lamb of sacrifice whom they saw in their future horizon pre-hoping in the annointed..Contrary to what most of the people think, even "wiser" preachers, Shaul was not only chosen to preach to the gentiles Acts 9.15 "But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the GENTILES , and kings, AND THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL" So The congregation of Efesus was not a gentile only congregation, that was NOT Gods plan, because Gods plan is to restore communion with Adam meaning ALL humanity...not only gentiles but firstly the jews the genealogical sons of Abraham, preaching that God had cast away the jews is ignorance and that is what it means not discerning the body of Christ. like Martin Luther did because the body of christ consists of two folds made one, firstly the jews and also the gentiles,,to gather all humanity in the condition of believing in Jesus´s resurrection. Thousands among thousands of jews and gentiles believed in Jesus in the first century, among them of course the jews Shaul and Peter.
