I'm on this drug for the last year, its has drastically changed my life and reduced bleeding.

@@JessHull thanks for the reply. I have severe heamophilia A, doesnt have antibody. i am now using factor 8 injections thinking of switching to hemlibra, is it safe, what happens if bleeding occurs during hemlibra treatment. Can we use normal factor 8(sorry for the bad English )
@@potato1054 I've been on hemlibra for a few years and I haven't had any issues related to the hemlibra, so I'd say its pretty safe. If you do have break through bleeding you just treat with your normal factor as you did before you were on the hemlibra. Though the dosing and frequency will be different. The cool thing I've noticed while being on hemlibra is even when I do manage to have a break through bleed, they're not as severe and they don't last nearly as long as before. I'm able to give a couple doses of factor (factor 7) and it resolves in usually 1-2 days. Before the hemlibra I was down for a minimum of a week usually longer.

I wish this was around when I was growing up in the late 70s and 80s. Now it's too late, my joints are all destroyed with arthritis, from getting 3 bleeds a week and sitting in emergency rooms for hours before they would give me a long drip of cryo. Thank god I wasn't infected with HIV back then.
