In one of Dimash’s interviews he mentioned that he felt nervous when he is performing in his homeland if his teacher ( Marat Aitimov) is watching.To have a duet with him probably makes him even more nervous.

Great reaction. Yes, this was the theme song for Godfather, famously sung by Andy William, or instrumental version. Marat, not only taught Dimash, he also instructed Dimash’s mom. So you. A see why Dimash had utmost respect for Marat. He always visits his teacher whenever he back in town. Great performance. ❤😊

I noticed the difference in the look of Dimash and Marat as well. I believe Dimash is the music. It course through his veins with every heartbeat.
So glad you did this one! It is beautiful in more than the beautiful vocals. I have read that Dimash invited Marat to perform with him at his concert in the Kremlin. Marat could not believe he was actually there performing. At least one reactor was disappointed Dimash didn’t sing more but that was not what this was about. This was Marat’s moment to shine and Dimash was there to accompany him. So beautiful. You may recognize Marat as the teacher in the 12 part Guide to Dimash who frustrated Dimash because others got perfect scores but he never gave them to Dimash. When Dimash graduated he saw Marat’s grade book and he had given him perfect scores all along. Marat was there in Istanbul for Dimash’s birthday concert May 24 and actually went to the Dears preparty.

👉 When Dimash was 15 years old, Dimash's mother (Svetlana Aitbayeva) asked her singing teacher Marat Aitimov to become Dimash's teacher. Dimash was no prodigy, just his range was exceptional and he has a perfect pitch. He always wanted to be a musician and worked very hard towards this goal.
Dimash did not fit the traditional image of a singer in Kazakhstan and was heavily criticized, but Dimash was undeterred. Even his singing teacher forbade him to sing in falsetto. He feared that Dimash's voice would be damaged, but to this day he cannot understand why the Chinese, and now the whole world, are so enthusiastic about Dimash's high tones...
