    I tried this method. It took me 3 hours to wash condition detangling and blow dry and I must say this was the easiest it has ever been!!! I did medium sized sections and my roots and edges are straight. I also used a heat protectant.

    I'm glad more and more beauticians are doing away for the blow dry comb. Paddle & Round brush is truly where it's at. Gives so much body and much healthier.

      So true! So glad you have such a good blow dry technique. I used to use the blow dry comb on my own hair out of laziness and then over time, I noticed my ends were thin! I gave up the blow dry comb, best decision!

    The Dominicans use a small/medium round brush with different sized bristles all around it that will have your hair bone straight simply by only blow drying and their blow dryers are so hot (may be a big difference) They roll and roll and roll-non stop. That’s the only thing I would change is the brush type and smaller sections for straighter results, but Ofcourse it would take longer. And doing the seran wrap method afterwards for 15-20 mins. This was a great demonstration and the clients’ hair looks really healthy and nourished.

    You don't even need to flat iron that straight. The straightness from the blow out is pretty good for me

    So I used this technique on myself today and I’ve never done such a good job! My hair is usually still hard to run a comb through, part, etc after I blow dry. Plus i would have a bunch of broken ends but not anymore ! Thanks sooooo much

    Her hair is so healthy! Nice. Coffee and lots of pop so dehydrating and robs body of iron and contributes to dehydrated hair and thus breakage. I know this and gotta do as needed

    This is so smooth and beautiful! Her hair looks like it’s trained and she has medium porosity. I seem to have a problem controlling the blow dry process with clients who have dry and tangly knotty hair. No matter how much I detangle, it seems to still tangle up and dry out too fast. How can I fix this?

      @@genevaxo “Some” black American stylists seem to not be well versed in different techniques as well.
      I was telling one recently about me have damage from wearing too many buns. It’s referred to as tension damage (you can google it). She claimed that’s not a thing. I thanked her and didn’t book the appointment.
      I think it’s just important to get a stylist that is well educated about all hair types and techniques from around the world no matter her/his heritage.

    Is there any product on her hair? Do you need that exact blow dryer or can you achieve that sleekness with any blow dryer- just the attachment needed? I’m natural and so is my daughter and I had the hardest time getting her hair straight with just the dryer. Help!

      You need to always use a heat protectant when blowdrying. For moisture u can add oil or like a leave in condotioner for extra softness.

    Do you use any leave in or heat protectant? I use them on my daughters hair and it always seems weighed down but if I don't then it seems dry/brittle

    Hey. Thanks for this. I just bought a paddle brush with the cushion backing (like you have). But I also saw one w/o the cushion. Do you know what the difference would be with the end-result for blow drying?

    @dreamchasin hair My question did you use a moisturizer or heat protection before you blew it out or just shampoo & deep condition?! I don’t want to damage my clients hair by not using a heat protectant but I’ve found that when I do put product or heat protection in (even the littlest amount), it makes the hair limp & heavy
