I think as a christian you must not get angry at someone insulting you or God. . Be strong in your faith always trying to do good and let them insulting god they just show who they are and how ugly is their heart. But this must not trigger revenge or hate in your heart because we are not like them. They are punishing themselves acting that way.

I am Catholic for life. Today in my group we have started a novena for reparation for the sinful act on the opening ceremony. In addition, we are encouraging people to fast, go for confession & adoration. We need to do our part, our Lord has been mocked. I was planning on watching the Olympics and when I turned the tv on Snoop Dog was carrying the torch so I changed the channel because I knew the opening ceremony was going to take awhile. I got interested in a movie and forgot about the olympics. The next morning I kept seeing all these pictures and short videos of the mockery. I was appalled! That just killed any interest I had in watching the olympics. I also don't want the IOC to think they can insult all christians, especially Catholics and think they can get away with it. The opening ceremony sets the tone and sends a message for the olympics. Its a theme. Homosexuality and pagan worship mocking my Lord is not something I want to watch or participate in. I feel bad for the athletes because they trained hard to get there. I hear the number of spectators is the lowest its ever been and I heard some companies pulled their ads. Good! If it hurts them in the wallet, then maybe they will realize they went too far. One person showed a picture from the opening ceremony and pointed out one of the male characters in the background was fully exposed. They covered his privates so you couldn't see them in the picture. They also reported the broadcasting company for America cut out a lot of the other scenes because there was more debauchery shown in person and to other countries. They knew Americans would be upset so they edited some of the debauchery out. I dont know if this last part is true, but either way, I'm not interested.

Yes I think Jewish people have a lot to answer for. They’re all very quick to always criticise Christianity yet if we say one thing about them, they claim we are anti-Semitic. Even as a Catholic gay person myself, I find it so appalling that the fat, Jewish lesbian thinks it’s ok to mock Christianity! Hypocrisy and vulgarity has overtaken the world and it’s just all very depressing. I think the Pope may be remaining quiet mainly because he doesn’t want to fan the flames and is choosing to remain dignified and quiet, otherwise if he were to speak out each time someone attacked Christianity, he would be at constant war with everyone, with the media, with various communities, religions and so on. That’s what I feel with Pope Francis’s silence. If we are to be truly Christian, we would know that like Jesus, our safety lies in our defenselessness. Jesus always taught forgiveness and he always remained calm and peaceful even in the storm of attacks and mockery that he was subjected to. Maybe the lesson here is to to choose peace instead of righteousness. I know people are outraged, and I also found it appalling and blasphemous - but while you’re being outraged you are no longer living the Peace that Jesus taught us. Just sayin’

I have not watched a minute of the olympics. And in the last couple of days I have been feeling better than ever… I do not miss a thing.
For the last month I have been struggling with sleep and I was feeling especially under the weather this last weekend, with the news of this mockery breaking on the internet, I prayed an Our Father dedicated in my heart to all who are struggling with sleep and distressful health issues. I vowed to not watch the olympics, which I usually enjoy, being a sports enthusiast. I prayed for peace of mind and rest.

I’m Catholic and quite honestly Jesus and the Catholic Church are big enough to take more blasphemy from the usual suspects. It’s not going to change the truth of our faith. I would really like our Church to stand up to women being beaten for sport in the Olympic Games. Would Jesus be happy with people cheering on men boxing women and beating them, is this how Jesus wants His daughters to be treated? Yes, the opening ceremony was ridiculous. So ridiculous that it’s almost to be expected from the woke folk. Yes, it’s outrageous. Yes, it should be condemned. But let’s also talk about women being beaten for sport. Our Church needs to condemn this!

As a devout Catholic, I agree 100% with Dr Taylor Marshall and as a traditionalist I agree with Mel Gibson.Bergoglio is eerily quiet.I just came from my one month Italy trip and St Peter's basilica waa a mess compared to 12 yrs ago when I first visited Rome, no sense of sacredness, the whole place esp inside was like a circus of tourists taking pics and lots of construction etc nobody can answer my simple question on where was the mass being held, I was stopped rudely while almost near entrance while i was on my elec wheelchair since I was disabled, to check my bag and redirected while others was let by...it was chaotic like Bergoglio's false leadership😢
