    so does maxing the ramp actually do anything , I always find anything past noon is audible, same for LPG, everything past noon sounds the same. maybe i am deaf

      The low pass gate will only allow the effect to take effect on the signal that breaks through the threshold. So if you are using high output pickups, like humbuckers, you may need to set that threshold lower by turning LPG down lower than noon.
      Damp smooths out the random pitch warbles, so if Depth, Mix, and Rate are high, the Damp knob will be most noticeable in its functionality and is altering the warble from large jumps in pitch to subtler, shallower dips more akin to a chorus effect.

      @@chrislink73 How do you feel about the chorus sounds? I find it to be somewhat unusable because this pedal clips/distorts easily

      There's an internal trim pot you should try and tune to your guitar, you should only have to barely adjust it.
