Final Double Crop Soybeans Are Planted | Is The Drought Over?

- čas přidán 11. 09. 2024
- Today we finish drilling the remainder of our 2024 double crop soybeans behind our winter wheat. Typically speaking we like to get them planted right behind the combine, however due to the major drought in the Southeast this year, that didn't happen. It will be interesting to see what the yields will look like with the soybeans being planted so late. Thanks for following along. If you would leave us a like, comment, and subscribe for more! God bless!

It’s good to see the next generation of young farmers still getting it done. God bless you guys,I hope the recent rains have helped y’alls corn and soybean crops
Thanks! They have definitely helped our soybeans and later planted corn.
Good to hear from you guys. 8-11 Seagrove
Good video. Hope your crops come in and get a good yield.
Thanks!
I been watching your videos for a while now. I enjoy seeing you trying to learn and grow your farm. You’re doing a great job.
I run a broiler- beef cattle-hay operation up in Wilkes county.
Awesome! I appreciate you following along. We have contemplated getting into a broiler operation before, just not feasible right now with interest rates and inflation.
Did u finally get some rain from that tropical storm
Yes. Around 5 inches!
Any advice for a high schooler who’s gaining more acres each year
Don’t try to take land from others, and keep your farms clean! I feel like it makes you look better that way. Learn all you can, because there is a lot more to farming than most think.
@@RouthFarms good thoughts man I appreciate it
