They aren’t together anymore. I think it’s been over 5 years? Her career is just so much more diverse than what she’s often credited for. I thought the subtle nod to her other successes was nice.

Another neat fact, in the 2008 movie The Queen (which was written by the same guy who’s writing this series), the actor playing Prince Charles is the same actor who played the Duke in the first two seasons!
@@PP-vm8zo You're completely right! Alex Jennings acted as his own great uncle. Derek Jacobi as Archbishop of Canterbury acted as the man who was also partly responsible for his own abdication when he later acted as Duke of Windsor. It's very surreal.

I’ve always admired this woman since I was a little kid. I think many of her roles will be burned into my memory for a long time to come. Truly a gem. Hopefully she gets a Golden Globe and/or an Emmy for The Crown. She deserves a lot more recognition than she gets.

Helena’s Uncle escaped from behind enemy line by himself in WWII, walked the length of Italy and made it back him to guard the princess. Even the rich kids back then were tougher than we are now!
My grand-grandfather also did this but he was in Germany, went back to France, then crossed the line, which is pretty difficult.

We can see that Stephen is doing his very best to make her feel comfortable. The moment Stephen does the funny gesture while pouring tea, she laughs and that's when she relaxed. You can tell she's not very comfortable in the beginning(due to jet lag), but she slowly opens up. Very wholesome.
