Thanks @Agronomag for the video. I have 2 bantam lavendars, lovely medium sized blue eggs every other day and don't get broody. They can fly well and rule the coop but aren't as friendly as my Silkies. They grow fast - my 2 chicks are already feathered up in a week! last year I bred some araucana x silkies, the hens started laying quite quickly (blue eggs too) and Larry crowed at 8 weeks! They can squalk quite loudly, now they're out in the garden they keep finding new places to lay. Such characters. 😊👍🐔
We got some in Pennsylvania. Both araucana and americauna. We even have ayam cemanis out here. Our Araucana hen is my absolute favorite! She is so smart and cunning. Thats my little bearded lady.
I am gonna get chickens soon , so thanks!
That's awesome! If you need any advice or tips, just reach out. Best of luck with your new chickens!
Beautiful chicken hen i like hen 💓💜💕💖
Thanks for you I from Egypt. my pleasure to you
Why are you saying they are super rare and hard to get? I got mine at the local feed store out of a box......
Id grab a fee chicks if available. If they hate coop/pet life, id let em just be farm birds and be what they want.
I have rumpless bamtam araucanas. They are my favourite breed so far! So social, affectionate, curious and funny little creatures. Just like silkies, they are something else than your typical chickens. 😂
I've also noticed that they hatch good if the eggs are not shipped and you let broody chicken do the job, instead of an incubator. 🐣
