He is regularly being invited on national & international TV shows for his intellectual contribution. He is an influential speaker. Salam, just a small correction: Q is for queer or questioning. Both terms are very different. Queer, literally, means odd or weird. This term was later reclaimed by members of LGBTQ+ community as someone that generally is a part of the community.
Then, about transgenderism, there are brain studies that have shown cis and trans brains and how they differ. Please take a look into it as well. While there can be an environmental impact, it’s not always the case. JazakAllah

I think Dr Saab did make a statement at the beginning that he wanted to give a perspective without a religious bias. What we have to understand is that from a religious point of view we know that Allah has created us in pairs male and female and also a marriage is between man and women. So we all know what is right from a relationship between couples. The point being made in this discussion based on the question is an explanation of the term LGBT. I'm sure DR Saab has no issue explaining the religious point either.

Just out of interest do we know of any people from the time of early islamic days/years who were born intersex? I wonder how the situation was dealt with at the time and what turned out to be as science wasn't advance enough to inject them with particular hormones nor advance enough for any surgeries to be done.
Sister I've searched about it i found out that some scholars say that there were cases at that time so the way they use to deal was to advise the patient to find out his dominant side mostly by looks and live according to the laws given by ALLAH(s.w.t) of that gender which is prominent in you and have patience ALLAH(s.w.t) will let there efforts be wasted. You should do some research im sure you'll find some Ahadees on it inshaALLAH.

Inheritance in Islam is divided between two genders (males and females) only. This clearly means that there are two genders from an Islamic point of view. I may be wrong but IMPOV (neither do I have Islamic knowledge nor medical) LGBTQ+ might be disabilities or syndrome (better word) - it could be genetic or distortion of genes from past incest as well. The heart is the first organ to form during the development of the body in the womb. The heart of the male and female are not the same but vary in size, stress reaction, density, function, etc. So the heart should be used as a determiner for the gender of male and female, not what the brain says/responds to as it doesn't build organs but just controls organs via the nervous system.

According to DSM ( internationally used manual for mental disorders) and ICD ( another international classification of disease), homosexuality is not a disease or disorder, it is a normal behavior.

Intersex ppl are born with both female and male serial organs. Transgenders are born perfectly fine.

Khwaja sara are not intersex. Khwaja sara are born with male primary sexual organs but choose to get them removed and behave like women as they feel like they were born in the wrong body. Please watch Dr javed’s previous video where he is taking interview of a khwaja sara.

Khwaja sara are not intersex. Intersex falls mainly under two,turner syndrome and klinefelter syndrome. Please watch his earlier video about Khwaja sara, in that video the Khwaja sara is telling how they are born with male primary sexual organs and get them amputated as they feel like women from birth.
Most khawja saras are actually men who become women . Technically they are transgenders. Very few of them are actually intersex..

Read Quran and understand the purpose of your life and know your God. Changing the gender is changing the creation of Allah on which he made you.
