» WHERE IS NEPHI FROM?
I am native to Bacolod City in the Philippines but in the recent years I have been moving and living a lot in different countries like Singapore, Japan and the US due to the nature of my work. I was in the US when I started this channel but I am currently in Indonesia thus the confusion to some where I am truly based.
» MUSICAL BACKGROUND
Former band vocalist of Akita performing at K-Pub in Ayala Cebu, Philippines (2019-2020)
Former band vocalist of Big Three Band performing in Yokohama 7, Yokohama, Japan (2014-2016).
Former member of the Filipino Voice Symphony (2010-2011) where I was taught by professional chorale singers (e.g. former soprano from UP Madrigal Singers). Our singing group bagged the "Gold Medal" in the International A cappella Championships held in Singapore in 2011.
Former university choir and singing trainer at Technological University of the Philippines Visayas.
» WHAT IS THE GREATER GOAL?
My mission is to promote music among different regions and try to make people from different countries relate to each other through music and singing. I have always believed that even small gestures in understanding similarities and differences towards others actually lead to greater awareness about countries and their people.
In this modern world full of things that divide humanity, it is but perfect to put efforts in re-uniting and building bridges among all of us.

When we at school learning to most of that song and learning about diversity in Indonesia. Yup you are right that is Gamaliel ftom GAC and also another is Nowela from Papua, you have seen her at Alffy Rev the spirit of Papua.
Fun fact : PENSI is a short word from Pentas Swara Indonesia (the title video) , also PENSI also known as PENtas SenI (Art/Singing performance) at almost every school in Indonesia, have event every year the name is "pensi" singing and band show and some art like painting show. And PENSI also refer too "pensiun" (in bahasa Indonesia) means retired, because the channel skinnyindonesian24 is legend Indonesia CZcamsr that leave CZcams community last year, and this is one of last project they made.

Yes nephi, Indonesian so far had 718 traditional languages, and i forget how accents. That is why we have bahasa Indonesia as our national language. I thinks that is why compare to some countries in ASEAN, Indonesian people who can speak english relative low. Cuz actually for most of Indonesian people their first language is their traditional language, then bahasa Indonesia, and i think those are what comes first as a priority .
Since you seems interested, ayam den lapeh is like, my chicken is run away, this one is from west sumatera, you can also see one og the traditional dance from there called "tari piring".

Pensi is actually the acronym of pentas seni. I think they just get creative and because the video itself is showcasing vocals and music (sound) in particular rather than a myriad of arts.
Yura vocal style most knowing as 'Nyinden', most people from Centre and East of Java can sing those kind of style. The singer call 'Pesinden' and commonly they sing with along together with the gamelan music.
Putar ke kiri ke kanan is song used to dance in indonesia and abroad,soldiers,policemen,people all join to dance with that song,many videos about that on youtube
