man, I wish the sentence "Only on Android" would cover more than just Samsung S24 and Pixel 8 phones, specifically for a feature that could be on pretty much every other Android
I believe when they say "Only on Andriod", they mean only on Android 14 - a version of Android that's currently only available to newer phones. Like the Pixel 8, and Samsung S23 and S24.

If I know anything about the tricky wording companies use (which I do), this likely means that it WILL be coming to other devices, they just don't want tyou to think like that so they can get some more 🤑 out of the customers.

I have an oppo which has integrated Google lens in the screenshot preview and they have been doing it since Android 11 which provides the same functionality as circle to search. Google has done the same thing but fancier.

Circle to Search is also coming to S23 series and the Z 5 series later this year!
It's in the code and it's definitely up to whatever OEM to implement this feature.

I swipe from the bottom corner to activate. You can turn that on in gesture settings
