  • Tanks were some of the most powerful weapons of the Second World War, and while tanks frequently fought one another, dedicated, towed Anti-Tank Guns were often just as important in winning battles. Most famous among the AT Guns is the German Pak or Panzerabwehrkanone series, seeing action all around the world, both before and after World War 2.

What I find interesting is that if you compare the weights of the British equivalent of the Pak 36; the 40mm & Pak 40; the 17pdr., the German models were much lighter but just as effective.

Good video! Well presented and informative. The only critique I’d like to share is maybe slow your speaking cadence a touch. It felt a little rushed in spots. Aside from that great job!

Thank you! Also I do agree with you regarding the speed, since making this I've been trying to slow down perhaps 10% or so, as I have a tendency to speak very quickly when reading from something.

@@mattsback3679 I used to be the same way. It’ll come with practice. Good luck!

Great overview and I appreciate you not immediately jumping to the 88.

First! Really informative and love the graphics style. I love the "Door knocker" name once the Pak 36 became obsolete 😂.

Being 'impervious' is a very loose term. Even rifle & machine gun rounds caused metal splinters to fly off on the inside surface of the early tanks. Also the Germans were quick to exploit field guns as & when the situation allowed.
