You know, if you see the four seasons as metaphors for the four elements and, thus, the four nations, you suddenly realize that "Four Seasons" was actually an early hint to Iroh's truly peaceful beliefs.

It always came on Nickelodeon and I thought it was a pointless filler but I revisited the series for the 18th time and really listened. I started imagining the nomads as just Aang's group if they were completely normal people. No bending, no bison, just music and one love.

We need an entire miniseries on Iroh's life. Like at least 3 episodes on his life and how he entered the spirit world in Korra
So they put this on our recommendations 6 years later just to make us cry.

I tried to watch legend of Korra but didn't. I cried because I missed this side of avatar too much! :):
Legend of Korra was awful, so you lost nothing.
Legend of Korra really wasnt bad, but the last airbender is just so much better

I wouldn't say it was bad. It had potential, but I hated Korra. She was so self-centred and never saw anyone's side of things. She was also naive.
In season 3 she really came into her own. My favorite Korra line is
"Resolvong conflicts, its what I do." She was sincerely happy to help the world. Also its a call back to Aang saying.
"Helping people, its what I do."
Korra was good hearted, she just had to get over herself first.

Mako who gave his voice for iroh unfortunately dies during the making of the 3rd episode of book 2 but then one of his students takes up his job n cintinues till the end . Well if u see the episode after the song "leaves from the vines" there is a banner shown n saying "A tribute to Mako"

@@Darksaviour Yep. The only voice acting Greg Baldwin, Mako's understudy, did in Season 2 was in Tales Of Ba Sing Se when the kids break the window with the ball. The rest of the season is Mako. Greg Baldwin did all of Season 3.

ATLA was one of the first TV shows I remember watching on TV :') i wasn't able to finish the entire show because by the time season 3 came out, younger me completely forgot about watching it and stopped caring about it.
I finished season 3 on Netflix and boy do I regret it

I saw most of season one and two when it aired, always new it was a good show. convinced my wife to watch the show with me on Netflix recently and she loved it. I was afraid it was going to not age well re-watching it being much older, but this is a special show. Now we are watching LOK. Currently (almost done with season three) I feel like that show gets WAY more hate then it deserves.

I don't see why so many people like to bash Legend of Korra, it's an amazing series with alot of valuable life lessons, just like TLA. It certainly has a different feel and tone to it, but isn't that a good thing? why would anyone wanna watch another clone of TLA. I can confidently say TLA shaped the way i think about things in life, and so did Legend of Korra after i looked at it from a different perspective.
i think the main problem with Korra is that most people found it harder to relate to a stubborn know it all type person rather than a lovable kid who just wants to help people, but the show isn't just about one character, its also about how that characters actions effect the people around them. These shows taught me alot about empathy, compassion, grief, and how to find the good when the bad can seem overwhelming. Keep an open mind and give it another shot, it might just surprise you.
