Do Americans not know what boho/ hippie means? When I think of boho or hippie, I think of loser fitting, flowey dresses, floral design, lace etc. None of the dresses made me think of that. But, I'm glad the bride found a dress she loved.
Yes, we Americans do. Not sure why the show headlined these dresses as such.
I agree. I was waiting for a lovely flowing BOHO style!
I agree with you. None of the dresses the Bride tried on reminded me of Boho/Hippie dress.
The dress they pulled for âbohoâ looked like 1960 bride vibes
Yes, and Iâm old enough to be your grandmother. I certainly know what BoHo/hippie means! None of these dresses were BoHo. I liked her choice though. It looked good on her. đ
The entourage was perfect. No controlling, just positive opinions about the dresses. Dad was funny and I'm glad the bride found something she liked. The corset dress looked fabulous on her though!
The corset dress was my favourite, the vale would have covered up the back slightly, shame she didn't try it on
@@char2304 oh yes! That would've been great!
I agree.
Yes.. amazing entourage
exactly đâ€
As soon as she said she didn't want a corset back I knew she'd get a dress with a corset back lmao! This show is too predictable but I still love it.
There must be another A line dresses without corset back in the store, I don't know why they didn't get her one as if they like it if she has to compromise somehow. Still, however, the one she chose is gorgeous and making her look so pretty the corset is somehow different and not showing badly in the back as the other one, and the line down the hips comes in artistic shape that looks nice although not as smooth as an A line dress but suits her
TBH it makes sense with her situation. The ending said she was flying back home with the dress, so she probably has to find someone to do alterations back in AK if she needs them. Corset backs are more forgiving and will need less to fit properly. So it works in her favor. đ€·ââ
Many times the brides have a âvisionâ of the type of dress they want. Then once they try one on, realize it looks horrible on them. Why it might be a good idea to let the consultant help with picking a style that makes the bride look her best!
I was just thinking the other day, how predictable this show truly is, yet its still my favorite!! Lol
Especially since the back can be covered by the veil. Simple fix.
Her Dad doing the finger guns but staying silent the whole time is the most Dad a Dad could do! xD
Except to break open the wallet, Dad should just smile and say they all look wonderful. đ°ââïž
Dad's are just thr for support/
Wallet just sit thr nod smile and pull out credit card
He was totally trying not to cry when they were putting the veil on. so sweet.
I thought that was so endearingđ
I was so excited about seeing a boho hippie style dress - nice and flowing and romantic. Glad the bride found a dress she loved but none of these dresses fit that boho/hippie description.
That's what I thought!
Not even the bedspread đ
Iâm glad if sheâs happy, but chances are she might just return it and find something else. All Who Wander makes almost exclusively boho dresses, sheâd do better just using that website to find a dress. This show is terrible at finding boho dresses.
Yes I imagined light flowing fabric, fringes, long sleeves and flowers in her hair ... something whack like cher bono if she ever chose to cover up
@@amyv. Sorry
As soon as she said the second dress was underwhelming, I fully expected someone to come running out with the magical blingy belt that fixes everythingđ
Lol!!!!
Don't forget the veil đ
I didn't notice at first but I think they did that off screen on dress #4
Yes! Everything is better once you "jack her up!" đ€Ł
đ€Łđ€Łđ€Ł
They didnât really stick her in anything bohemian/hippie, everything they handed her was glamour
I think they might have convinced her that this style fits her body shape better.
I agree!!
Nothing was glamorous
Yeah, I was like, is this what passes for bohemian at this store? Would hate to ask for any type of dress in that case, if you ask for a glamourous ballgown they'll stick you in a simple empire waist dress. :P
Agree! Imagine if she went to see Gok for help with this style.... he would've given her the perfect dress in 1st shot
Whenever somebody says yes to the dress, not only do they and their family look happy, but so many of the people that are behind them in Kleinfeld's start smiling too! I love it when everyone is there for the same goal and just enjoying being part of someone's joyous experience.
A
Well said!!
Sometimes i feel like people just get tired and say they like it cuz they are pooped from watching someone try on soo many dresses
â@@SanAntonioRealEstateAgentđ Yep.
I love the dress the bride chose. It suited her shape and style very well. Her family seemed very supportive too. I wish Klinefield showcased more dresses like it.
This may be one of the very few times that I didn't feel like bringing an entourage was a big mistake. They told what they liked but they left the ultimate decision up to her. Well done! I'm very glad she didn't have to go all the way back to Alaska without a dress.
when she came out in her dress i was blown away! It makes her look young and flirty without taking away from her poise and beauty!
None of these I would consider as boho/hippie. Hallelujah, the entourage was peaceful and supportive.
It is never about the dress. It is about to find a dress for THEIR FIGURE!
The dress is simple, elegant & beautiful. The bride's smile & glow says it all. đ„°
I am NOT a fan of the "lobster tail" train.
As soon as she said boho, I was like "oh, baby, no, your personality is waaaay too strong, find something that works with her shape and a bit of flow to satisfy the romantic side of her", and that's pretty much what he got lol. I loved this episode, so positive
Agree. Great choice for her.đ
I thought the same thingđ
Perfect appointment. Perfect family. She chose well.
A Corset doesn't have to be part of or in the dress, it can be a foundation under the dress, then the dress lays on top of the corset. Also, a veil can hide a lot of the corset crossties that she wasn't in favor of.
I actually clapped when she came out in that last dress lol! It was perfect and so beautiful!
Agreed!!!
I knoooooooooow right! I was like oh wow PERFECT!! This is it!!
Hahaha that happens to me all the time too when I watch this show đ
I cried a bitâŠâŠđ
None of the dresses she tried remotely resembled "boho" or "hippy" styles. That's fine though because she's getting married not going to Woodstock.
The dress she chose looked beautiful.
yeah but she's getting married at a nature museum and her whole relationship has been about outdoorsy activities. if she likes glam more than hippie then she needs to change her venue.
Yeah you wouldnât want to go to Woodstock. The last Woodstock they had hamburgers were $30.
Woodstock đ
Have you seen boho wedding gowns? Most of them are absolutely beautiful, and would be perfect for her venue.
Yes she looked pretty in the glam dress but like you said, not remotely boho.
I just love hearing Randy say "Hello Beautiful"
It's always nice to see a bride with such a supportive family!!
I read an interview with a woman who worked in a bridal salon and she said she dreaded when a bride came in asking for a boho style because every bride had a different idea of what it meant so she"d be pulling all sorts of dresses trying to figure out what exactly the bride was wanting.
A boho style would be similar to the dress worn by Jenny in Forest Gump......
But the consultants didnât pull any boho dress for anyone standards.
Boho basically means a nightgown. Loose fitting with flutter sleeves.
It's a wonder those kind of stores don't have a picture folio filled with different "dress styles", e.g. Boho, Mermaid etc. Just to get a real idea of what is floating around in the bride's mind. Even something which shows some fashion artist's clear, unfussy versions of those styles. Or even a big picture board of some kind in each dressing room. "Do you mean this profile or that style?" So many white dresses, it gets overwhelming...
she looks gorgeous I wish her the best in that marriage and her and mom was the sweetest!!
Corsets really get a bad rep for no reason, I'm glad the bride got to see what a corset could do for her and how it's not inherently a trashy look!
She hated the drop waist, corset, and lines. And she picked the dress with all three of those. And you know what. SHE SLAYYYYYYSSSS IN THAT DRESS!!!
She looked great in that corset dress and her entourage was pretty supportive of her choice. I don't get why she thinks that corsets look trashy and tacky.
Because corsets make people think of underwear.
Because she's ignorant.
@@lorrilewis2178 Corset inspired outerwear has been a thing for decades or more, though. So I don't get it.
@@MsAngelique Yes, they've been around since maybe the 1990s in bridal wear. Longer in rock-n-roll influences. Some people never found the look appropriate for a wedding dress.
Religious prudes...
She looks fabulous in her last dress....kudos to her entourage for being honest, and positive...no drama llama here. đ
This bride and entourage was soo open and not toxic, seemed such a nice smooth appointment for them.
I love the consultant! She has a great energy! And she's very light and funny!
I found her really abrasive and kind of rude, but to each their own.
Hippie, Boho??? None of the dresses were in that style! Glad she found one she liked... But definitely not hippie, boho!
When I think of hippie boho I don't think of sweetheart necklines strapless
Yes you missed that this episode is from 2007. đ€·đ»ââïž. Old styles
I just love how everybody turns around and looks when this part comes up their face expressions on my gosh đ but she looks gorgeous love the dressđ€âș
I love the dress she decided on âŠ. It is perfect for her. And I love the fact that she knows what she looks good in!
I will never understand why people shop at one of the most Type A, luxury bridal stores looking for a flowy, boho type gown
Not to mention the outrageous prices.
I know ... they need to find a McCall's or Simplicity dress pattern book and just make their own casual flowy nightgown-ish piece from cotton ;)
@@KingsDaughter1957 hmm, I will consider that for my wedding
Because they do have those too.
@@KingsDaughter1957 Iâve seen some very gorgeous glamorous Boho Wedding Gowns ⊠they exist! If she wanted a homemade cotton nightgown-wedding gown she wouldnât have gone all the way to Kleinfields in NYC!
You can have Boho and Glamorous together!
She was against the corset back, but theyâre definitely âwowâ on her!
corset backs are really the only way to go if you're plus-size. we need that structure. imagine being a DDD-cup and saying "i won't wear underwire bras."
i literally cannot unhear the narrator as sonic. That is sonic the hedgehog narrating a tv show about wedding dresses and you cannot change my mind
This bride seems like a such nice person
This was one of the nicest episodes Iâve seen there wasnât any real drama and everyone was just so laid back and nice
Every time a bride comes in and asks for a boho style dress Kleinfelds gives them the opposite. Waiting for them to understand that term.
On a positive note, they came within $100 of her stated budget and did not insist on a Pnina Tornai creation!
I noticed this is from season 1. đ€Ș
Somehow I don't think the brides-to-be don't really know or understand the concept of "boho." I think they may equate it with romanticism, not free-flowing, unstructured, hippie-style dresses. đ€
@@dianemoonstone4715 I agree but then why does Kleinfelds say âBohoâ when looking for the dress?
Yes. I guess the store didnât carry any at that time. But they should be more honest and said that.
Randy absolutely knows his stuff!
A corset under the dress would have been the perfect compromise for her. That way she could hide the back detail and still get the shaping.
*This episode made me smile.*
*Beautiful bride, beautiful family, beautiful dress*
Oh, YES! That last dress was IT!!! She looks STUNNING! Great job.
I was taught to never say never bcz if you do that thing you said you'd never do is something you will end up doing. On this show almost always they say they hate some style or would never wear some shape and that ends up being what looks best on them and they end up getting it! Just watching it happen on tv is fun!
So nice to see a wonderful supportive family. She looks beautiful!
The title of this video was so misleading. I was stupidly excited about seeing what this "hippie dress" would look like. But there is nothing "hippie" about the second dress -- or the first. Both were supposed to be "bohemian," but were as far away from that concept as a nun's traditional habit is from a Pnina Tornai design. SYTTD: Lancashire. It's the only way to go for really, really, really different gowns. Plus, well, GOK.
She made the right choice! That dress looks amazing on her!
They didn't give her a true hippie dress thoughđ€šđ€š
Yep - and everything she tried on just looked cheap and ugly. There was a pretty dress on the mannequin behind her.....and the corset helped her figure but she was right about it looking trashy in the back.
That's exactly what I was thinking too.......... like where's the boho???
I just saw an open back with a form fitting lace with flesh colored lining on a bride, or maybe a flowy peasant blouse look .....these dresses were 100% generic in style
Biggest problem is that's rare that it's really boho the bride want. They just use it as the cool word. The few times they pulled boho to a boho bride it was the worse thing they ever seen
Seems like she didnât actually want one
The last dress was the perfect fit for her. She is a beautiful bride. đ
AND... đ
Can we talk about Randy gasping đČ when she said she didn't need to try on another dress? I just can't stop laughing, đđđđ his facial expressions and his reaction were amazing. đ„°đ
I'm glad she found a dress that makes her look and feel beautiful! That said, once again Kleinfeld does not listen to what the client wants, or even to their own opinion. He basically said she looks great in an A line dress, then put her in another drop waist. Also, she could easily do a corset as an undergarment, which would give her the shape, and allow her to love the back of the dress too. There had to have been more choices. Sometimes I feel that they just bully brides into what they want to sell, they don't listen to what the brides are saying. And great that she decided she wants glamor, but they should have at least had her try something Boho, since that what she said she wanted. And yes, dad was right, that dress did look like a bedspread!
So what is the definition of a Boho dress, and what does it look like?
I agree đŻ
The brideâs smile is the perfect combination of her mother and father!
This made me legitimately cry wtf!!! She looked amazing, and she just let herself carry to what was best for her
I never saw a BoHo style in a fit and flare. And that's the first dress they bring out.
I love the dress she chose! It looks amazing on her, and she looks amazing in it!! She looked so much more comfortable without all that chaos going on in the back or the other corset, this one is fabulous!! So happy for her, and what a lovely family!
I am NOT a fan of the "lobster tail" train.
They seem like the best family, positive, supportive and i love her personality. she looked so gorgeous in her chosen dress
This was a great shop. Mom, Dad and sister. All civilized fans of the bride and at peace with one another. Huge entourages are recipes for chaos, dissension and insults. This was pleasant.
I agree with this brideâs opinion on the corset closure on a wedding dress. Itâs not a pretty way to close up a fancy dress. The corset makes the dress look like â one size fits allâ , depending how tightly you pull the edges together.
Absolutely
Loved how these folks were so much fun and supportive of her beautiful dress
"From bohemian to glamorous..."
Wait, I'm still waiting for the bohemian! You haven't showed us bohemian yet!
Love that she knows the corset back is tacky!
she picked the perfect dress, she looks amazing in it
She looks beautiful in all the dresses đ she tried on. Her family is great!
They were more less the same style dress. Glad she the one she liked.
The way she walked out! Yeahs! That was the stride! She wears the glow.
Very nice dress. Better than all the rest. Have a wonderful wedding day.
She doesnât realize that the corset wonât be so spread apart when itâs actually her size! It doesnât look trashy when it fits better
this was my thought too
Lol bride blaming the dress for making her look bad, and when a corset solves her issue, she doesn't want to give in because they're "slutty".
She didn't seem to accept what her body naturally looks like in the non-corseted dresses, and is amazed at how good she looks in the corset ones, since those change her figure.
Clothes are meant to help enhance your beauty. Why say no to things and call them trashy?
Some people don't like dresses where the back looks like underwear (corset). She could have just used shape wear under any dress to get the same look.
She's ignorant af and I'm glad you made this comment. Didn't like the bride.
@@lorrilewis2178 But the dress would have to be altered to fit the shapewear, which is just a corset with less support.
@@MsAngelique Shape wear comes in many strengths of support. All wedding dresses are altered to the bride's measurements.
Wear a real corset underneath that's made for you
The last dress was amazing! Good choice!
She chose the dress that truly looked beautiful on her, WOW! WOW! Loved the dress.
I love it when they try on one last dress and it tops the rest by a mile â€
Yes, the girl has taste and the dress she chose was the best one for her special day.
she looks FREAKING gorgeous in every dress. But the last one is just đ€đ»
What is it with those sparkly belts? When she tried her final dress on, she didnât wear a belt. It looked sooooo much better. More clean and harmonious. Those belt always cut the dresses in an old fashioned way. Itâs just my opinion, I know. But here in Switzerland, you never see belts
I almost cried over the Dennis Basso gown. She looked elegant and classy.
The first dress was very pretty on her it really brought out her chest.
Vancouver, Victoria, Seattle all have amazing dress stores, A LOT CLOSER, and more budget friendly to get to.
Yes but you wouldnât be on TV
And not in Kleinfield
There are a million dresses in this store that aren't a corset back đ I also hate corset backs and I'm like so upset that the minute she said "no corset" they were convincing her to get a corset back. Kleinfled's is not friendly to anyone over a size 10.
I sometimes find it kind of insulting to the designer when brides say dresses are hideous, itâs not hideous half the times, it just doesnât suit her body type
So, dress 1 and 2, neither are bohoâŠ.lol
Dress 3 was really pretty on her
#4 the drop waist, oh god noâŠ
None of them were..... the dress on the mannequin behind her would have been more suitable
She looked utterly gorgeous in that last dressđ
I'm so happy she went with the Corset dress, I myself won't where a dress without them and we have the same body shape so I knew it would look the best out of all of the other dresses
I got chills! The dress looked so beautiful on her!
What a lovely woman, I hope her day was everything she could dream off
The bride's original sentiments regarding corsets echoes mine exactly. I detest corsets and would not try one on because they do an excellent job at accentuating the waistline and feminine silhouette, while unfortunately making you look like you work in a bordello. I wouldn't allow myself to be tempted.
i love that everyone in the shop is as excited to the other brides as they are to their own bride
I've missed this wonderful show so much! Randy let's everyone shine bright like everyone is a star! đ
Beautiful bride a sweet supportive loving family!
God Bless everyone!đđ«
Gorgeous dress & what a sweet Dad!
Loved this pick and her family was so supportive.
I wanted to flash a sign that says, âEmbrace the Corset!â đ
Gorgeous đ and Randy is just so lovely
I don't understand how she is so opposed to the idea of a corset but then complains about the fittings of the other dresses, when it is THE CORSET that gives you a bombshell fit and shape. I am glad she chose that dress, she looks stunning in it
I donât like corset backs either. Corsets were underwear and I guess thatâs part of it. Traditional gowns have 50 buttons down the back and no zipper. I love to see the long line of buttons. Thatâs unique to wedding gowns. No right or wrong just individual tastes and style. I had my mom make the dress of my dreams. Love watching different girls find their dream dress! Itâs a special moment!
Her smile says it all đ
That last dress on her brought tears to my eyes.
She looked amazing in the dress she choseđ
Distress was absolutely perfect for her and she looked beautiful in it. Many happy wishes for the long and lasting.
Dress 3 is so pretty on her đ
Beautiful and supportive family
She was stunning. She felt good in that dress because she knew the fit was good for her. God bless and congratulations!
It is so reassuring when these women find friendship / senses of humour & feeling secure as reasons that they so want to commit to these men . For me have always said it was knowing I would never be bored & let me be my impulsive , argumentative determined self .These attributes indicate that even when those small habits will cause them. Momentary fury they also know in the bigger scheme of things that a copm pop mise will be reached ....
Love the dress she chose
Looks like a Fun family!!! The last dress looked lovely on her
