The fact this CZcamsr has to constantly explain “these things are not invented by me” to avoid hate because of their past of being told they copied people, yet there are CZcamsrs doing really horrible things and still making millions, blows my mind.

Oh my god I love your orange stringy thingy 🥺
They're super easy to make! Cut an orange in medium thickness, lay on a baking tray and bake at 100°c for 2-3 hours, turning halfway through!
Yay! Such good pointers. I also recommend in the shower using a nail buffer to clean the grout between tiles. It really makes the shower look so much cleaner.

For anyone who needs to get adhesive off your floor (or anything really) mix olive oil and baking soda and rub it all over. Then use dishwashing soap to break down the oil, and mop. It’s such a time saver.

I have the same tub faucet (and tiles!) That you used in the example In my new house 😁 but... It's nice for a bath but it suuuucks for showering so I only shower downstairs. That kind you have to hold is an absolute pain, unless you also have something to hang it on up top. Just FYI lol
Just wanted to say that you need permission from your realtor/ landlord (if not both) to do almost every single thing in this video. Especially the kitchen. At least in the U.S. You can be held legally/ financially responsible for any damages or things that the landlord doesn’t like. It is not your place. It is a “rental”. Every nook and cranny is written down in detail and is photographed before and after a new tenant moves in or out. And before anyone discredits this comment, my family has been involved in every aspect of this business for nearly 10 years. Everything from evictions, staging, signing and maintaining/ updating rental apartments and homes. Please DO NOT do anything in this video without consent from your realtor and/or landlord as something like this will likely be against your contract. Which in turn could potentially void the contract and potentially end in an eviction. I only wanted to comment this to prevent anyone from getting in trouble. The suggestions look good and add appeal, but the landlord or maintenance teams will likely do these updates without costing you much, if at all. Be safe, and ask!
This, especially the contact paper thing because I dont think the adhesive comes off completely ever, and could damage the underlying wood permanently, especially if its heated, like in the kitchen near the stove. It does look nice though.
Like, contact paper comes off easily at first but after a year, especially after the pressure of standing on it or putting things on it, it may be damaging on some surfaces
These things are temporary, reversible, and if done with care would not cause any damage. so you shouldn't get into any trouble doing them. upgrading aspects of apartments has been around a long while, and done by thousands of content creators on youtube and even more people in real life. as long as it is reversible you should run into no issues. but as i mentioned, it's up to each persons better judgement what changes they make.
I suppose if you buy some faulty contact paper. However the adhesive surely isn't strong enough to do any damage. And yes, I have left contact paper on my counters/cabinets for over a year and they peel right off very easily. You can also watch youtube videos of others showing how theirs has held up after more than a year and how easy it is to remove. x
@@cozykitsune Well as mentioned before, additional updates should always be passed along to maintenance teams or landlords as they potentially have the most experience performing the work and the definitive final say. In addition to having it done right, you also have the opportunity to have it done free of charge! Its best to not take the risks that are bound to happen should the work be done without consent. I do think these are good suggestions in the video but yes they DO HAVE risks. The apartment looks good! Great job! Regardless, you are all open to your own risks and choices. Again, be safe, and ask whom it concerns. Happy Holidays everyone!

There are self stick cabinet pulls that shouldn’t damage contact paper. There are also wrap around pulls on Amazon.
These ideas are great but I'm way too lazy to do any of these... just the thought of putting contact paper on the cabinets makes me tired.

Peel and stick tiles! Another way to do it is to put contact paper on the floor, and then do the tiles so the residue isn’t super sticky on the actual flooring

I’m from Australia and over here we have inspections every few months where management inspects the property (as the name suggests) and NOTHING can be changed to the property without asking.
Does America have inspections?
I’ve never rented where they do that but I’m sure some places might👀
Yes we have inspections here at least once a year for safety reasons. I have to hide my cat 🐈⬛
