Hi Shinichi, really enjoyed this upload. I say yes to wandering down different streets, you never know what interesting places you could find tucked away. The warm blueberry cream cheese sounds delicious and that chocolate cake that you also showed looked extremely tempting too. I share Satoshi’s interest in rail travel and I think Japan seems to put a lot thought into the design of their trains. Thank you for sharing this day out, best wishes to you and Satoshi 🍡

Oh I love anything Macha! I add Macha to 1/4 cup hot water to dissolve, then I pour it into a glass of Almond milk with ice and sugar or stevia. It's one of my favorite drinks. 😊 Yes Satoshi san...drink lots of water, but preferably with electrolytes...it helps big time. Love you brothers! XOXO
Onari St. is fun too to go down and at the end there is a really elegant restaurant that isn't super expensive and we were the only gaijin in the place! Love Kamakura

I have been there many times esp during the pandemic in 2021-2022. It was very quiet but I love those moments so much. I will go there again hopefully next week to try what I have missed out ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉!

Everything looks so good & very pretty. My hydrangeas are blooming now as well. They start out bluish then purple & finally, dark pink. My Aloha rose bush flowered very early because of early high temps & yielded 3 dozen yellow & pink blooms. However, after I pruned it, there are now a dozen little buds with the new leaves! I’m so excited! I have a patch of irises which normally yields black blooms but so far, no blooms. Two years ago, there were 52 blooms! Last year only one stalk came up but had lovely yellow & lavender blooms. I know you love flowers so I wanted to share. I wish I knew how to upload photos.

Great video. If you have Liquid IV in Japan that will help with hydration. It is a powder you add to water.
For dehydration. Lots of water, something sugary like a soda, and something heavy in bread carbs like pizza. That will help him recover nicely. And a sports drink with electrolytes wouldn't hurt either. That was my go to diet after being at a theme park all day in the middle of the dog days of the hottest and most humid days of summer. Woke up the next day ready to go again.

Thanks so much Shinichi for this video! I'm going to Japan to hike in Kamikochi in late September and planning a day trip to Kamakura on the day before flying back to Thailand. I had visited all the famous shrines and temples there before so my intention this time is to check out the beaches and eat local food! 😊

Last time I was in Kamakura, I tried Asahina and liked it.
You can put an ors sachet in your bag, if you start feeling ill from the heat, mix that with water and usually you feel better quickly.
Kamakura is one of my favourite towns to visit. I love trying some snacks, but I like both, though I don't eat that much hahaha. There used to be a nice café in a sidestreet of this shopping street but that closed down :( But I would love to check out the second warabi mochi store you came across. And I think I saw a purple sweet potato soft serve at the sweet potato shop. And the hojichacha latte looked interesting to me.
In Kamakura one stop from Kamakura station is such a quaint wagashi restaurant. You would love it. Satoshi as well as the entrance is on the enoden train track. And you see the roof of the enoden line pass above the Japanese garden.
So good to know you can get from Narito straight to Kamakura. I would love to stay in Kamakura a few days either at the beginning or end of a stay but always thought with changing trains with luggage was too much of a hassle.

Remind Satoshi it's VERY IMPORTANT to keep drinking water because not only to be hydrated but because kidneys fail due to dehydration plus could suffer from heatstroke too. One cause of kidney failure is dehydration which should not be taken lightly.

YES - I Love snacking on small handheld bite-size Street food In Japan and Thailand.
In Japan, I would say Takoyaki is my Fave and Dango for dessert. In Thailand I would say
Real Isaan Sausage and and anything Banana for dessert.

Yes you can. Just be careful. I would also plop the whole ball into your mouth so you don’t affect your braces
