I disagree, since using a manual is part of driving a car, it means you have to be more focused on your driving, so you tend to drive better, whereas if you drive an automatic, you can do other things while driving which will result in you getting distracted. Also, some people are capable of doing more than one thing at a time, but forcing everyone to touch a screen to do anything is just unsafe.

Actually ,I was looking at one today , and I like the looks much more than my old 3 series BMW., it looks more modern and I would not need to sell my kidneys to get it serviced .Might well be my next ride .
It looks like a toaster, and using a touch screen in a car is backwards. Why do you think texting and driving is unsafe?
It is easy to like the new Cadi look ). it is different from the rest!! now a days it is hard to tell the diff from Honda, Toyota, Lexus and Audi! car that looks different from the pact a offers sooo much for the money... even gives a FOUR year ALL Service included- Now, that's my ticket!
I owned 1 Honda CRX, 4 Accords and an Audi A4.... From the side my last Accord V-6LE looked better then my Audi!
Cadillac now has a higher build quality then BMW. In fact, 70% of all new Cadillac ATS buyers are coming in from former German cars buyers. They KNOW now that Cadillac offers better quality at a lower price to purchase, insure, and repair.
Cadillac now has a higher resale value than Mercedes, Porsche, Acura, Lexus, and especially Audi.
I traded my BMW 5 series in for this car.

nah youre thinking of other GM products not caddy. ive seen the new ats at our chevy dealer and the materials are just as good as the german cars. and reliability from a german car? are you joking? they have the worst reliabilty our of all car companys.
WAYYYYY to small inside!!! My friend's 2009 Hyundai Elantra has more room inside!!

Shitty car. when we got it on our contract it was indicated that it came with a cd player but we had to fight with Cadillac as they told us that with this model it does not come with it. They never gave it to us. other Cadillac dealers told us that we could've have gotten one in the glove compartment. now I can't even use the USB connection as I have a Samsung Galaxy S 111 and it doesn't work.Hooray for Cadillac.bull....
BMW is garbage for reliability, you have to pay the dealers a grand a month to keep it on the road
