One thing I have only just noticed, is that you don't have lanyards on any of your gear. Makes my toes curl every time you land a fish, or are fighting one when another rod goes off. Anyway I'm glad things turned out alright in the car park. Just remember, these people take advantage of anyone who is not aware of what is going on around them, so they have the surprise advantage. They will always back down when challenged, unless they have company. In that case doing exactly what you did, getting in the car is your best move. Take care my friend and tight lines.

Cracking session Nev. I used to get hassled pier fishing in the early hours, and a few weeks ago those young wankers pushed a 70+ year old guy off mornington pier for their TikTok. Safer out on the water sometimes!

Gday mate they were excellent fish our ban doesnt finish until 2026 but when i was out on saturday was plagued by juvi snapper had to move to get away from them all around the 250 to 300mm size put up a good fight though for being small i was targeting whiting but they liked my bait i cant imagine pulling one of those big ones in a dream come true .

have had some weird interactions like that real late while fishing at around the same time 2-3am. was out fishing a local spot and was hearing shit in the bushes looked behind me into the bushes and thought I saw someone flashed my spotlight in the bush and a guy was in there just looking at me stared at me for a good 10-15 seconds then ducked his head asked him what he was doing and got no reply weird cats around at that time of the night.

Fishing alone can be tricky at times. I was bashed up by 3 one afternoon cause they wanted to make it even better to was across the road from a police station some people just suck didnt even know them

You'll probably find out that it's a gay cruising spot that early of the morning I have heaps of spots i fish from that have men hanging around the toilets and try and approach me but once they notice that I'm fishing they leave me alone hahaha he would of got close enough to see you was setting up and got freaked out himself hahahaha oh and the snapper session I've been waiting for again didn't disappoint 😊
