When I very first saw this video, I have to admit, I was confused and thought there must be a mistake . . . a half an hour Lawn Boy . . . I’m sure glad it’s real. One of the finest performances I’ve seen.
They were not fuckn around when they said "jam" filled donuts that night! They brought it my phriends! So fortunate to be part of what went down that night! MSG has a wonderful sound to the room and they know they own it there...it was absolute bliss! Very grateful!

I've used Lawnboy as a 30 minute timer for many things....drives, cooking timer, Sunday Funday house cleaning...probably my all time favorite Live Lawnboy (that I have access to, i am sure there have been better versions, but it's what I got :-)
I was there. Amazing show. First set was all jams. Second set was great. It was my first Phish show. We brought oysters down from Maine and opened them for the band back stage. They were so nice. I got to watch the show from the security pit on Mike Gordon's end of the stage. It was an awesome experience! Thanks Phish!!!

Mine was a largely unremarkable show in raleigh 2010. Curious: how'd you manage that? It doesn't sound like you knew the band or anyone closely involved. The thing that made me lose my shit happened right before this during the Sample in a Jar when as verse 2 was about they happened they ditched the rest of the song and blasted right off into a type-2 esque jam. IT was right then when "Jam Filled" instantly lived up to the hype and the fun had just begun. I knew I wasn't going to miss this show. For starters, it was the first show in the Bakers Dozen that had entered uncharted territory, This was the first show that happening outside of the regular 4-night run...we had entered the great unknown. RIght out of the gates, Phish was intent on making sure we knew what this meant for them and us. After Sample in A jar blowing our collective minds, IT was time for LAWN MAN. We'll just leave it there. This one ranks right up there with , Tweezerpants from MAgna, Prince Caspian->Iculus OSWEGO, P YITE/DROWNED/DAVIDBOWIE 12/3/97 Philly(phirst show) YOU ENJOY MYSELF AC2021 Night 3, Which was an absolute statement, from the Band and LIghting. A grand gesture of the collective beauty that this band is cappible of. The performance should somehow get the MOMA treatment.

2017 lights are my favorite in the last decade The Caspian at Peterson before the Donut madness had an absolutely gorgeous strobe light effect just like this Lawn Boy Who woulda thunk that Lawn Boy would have an amazing light show or GS war
This is a great Lawn Boy, cool to see them jam it out with the keytar and stuff. It's a shame it was still only three and a half minutes long. Imagine if they'd jammed it out for like, half an hour!
John Fishman lives nearby in the town of Lincolnville. He’s actually a Selectman in that town. I’m friends with the owner of a restaurant and he’s friends with Fishman. Anyway, we brought the oysters and the Fishmans got us the tickets and backstage passes. Jet Blue confiscated the mignonette I made. It was an interesting day shopping for mignonette ingredients in Manhattan to recreate it. The whole thing was a blast.
